(Retired) Assertive Bunkers

Description
This mode has been replaced by the new ACS version and is now considered retired. There will be no further updates or bugfixing for this mod as you should now be using the ACS version found here. https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2473174197

This is a collection of bases for the Modular Encounters Spawner
Multiple variations on each base, some come with a variety of traps
  • No reactors or uranium on any of the bases
  • You will need to have in-game scripts enabled in your world to get the most out of this mod
  • The blocks used in the bases are vanilla (some have DLC content)
  • Bunkers will not start spawning until you have a small base and have passed the threat score requirement for them to start spawning.
  • As you progress in the game the enemy bunkers will increase in difficulty

The bases all have two modes:
  • War: The antenna on the base is set to maximum range and will send drones to attack any player that ventures into this area (the current maximum range is 15km)
  • Peace: In this mode the antenna is reduced to short range, unless you get quite close to the base you may not even know it's there. During peace time you should have the opportunity to repair and prepare for the next wave of attacks.
The duration of both of these modes is randomised within a preset range and varies with the type of base that's spawned.


Customised drones:
  • The bases will spawn a variety of custom drones, with no reactors or uranium
  • There are multiple variations on each drone for added challenge
  • Drone antenna range is short so be vigilant
  • Drones use the new AI so there are some differences in how they behave, some good, some bad but with the help of Lucas, mostly good
  • As you progress in the game the difficulty of the drones will also increase as the difficulty of the bunkers increases

Antenna signals belonging to other mods will not spawn drones (unless their name matches the hidden names in this mod), the signals belonging to this mod are that will display are:
  • Research Lab
  • Research Outpost
  • Military Outpost

This will eventually become an addon to it. Until Pav is ready to go with that part though it's possible (though unlikely) that it may cause issues with the updated ACS

Anyone know why all ai mods except reavers just fall out of the sky even these bases for some reason they spawn above my head around 25 blocks ish and just fall even space ones dont have dampeners but this is very weird especially since the bases spawn as a ship too and all are powered and as much as i dont mind my farm that grinds them down at an instant id'e like to see of anyone knows how to fix this??

Anyone else have this strange occurence when a base spawns drones and they get shot down near your base you hear a constant humming sound? Sort of like a heavy engine or piston running. Cleaning the drones up makes it a bit less in volume but it remains.
Pretty sure its the crashing (as in shooting down) of the drones that starts the sound as i do not have it before being discovered by a base and following drone attacks

So, just saw this when i went into the bases, the interior turrets are spawning with ammo, but won't fire. they are listed as energy weapons and tagges NPC turret in block name.

vanilla interior turrets, will allow them to fire with either nato or mr-50 mags so thats not an issue. looks like the bp's might need to be updated

seems to work fine with mine, just took down a military outpost, stepped over and land mine and im glad i used a heavy undercarriage lol

yea, all the turrets and drones spawned had ammo and where shooting at me
