Description
======Description======

Ever wish you could go questing in regular clothes, but still have the protection that armor offers? If so, this mod is for you.

This mod duplicates all the articles of clothing (without replacing any of them), and gives them the stats of Dragonscale armor. Not only that, but it also reduces the weight and increases the value.

Please report any problems you have in the comment section.

======How it works======

So to use this mod, you need to have the clothes you want to make and a soul gem in your inventory. If you have the dragon smithing perk unlocked, you can then head over to a tanning rack and create your item.

If you don't have the clothes you want, don't worry! I've put a chest in-game that has all the clothes that would be needed to turn them into mythical clothes. The chest is located just north of Redoran's Retreat. You could also go to The Radiant Raiment in Solitude and buy the clothes there.

You could also find Mythical Clothes as random loot. This way if you're not a smith, you can just go out looking for your next piece of armor. You start finding the clothes around level 50 and you will find more and more as you rise in level.

If you can't find the soul gems, you should go check out this mod which increases the number of soul gems that court wizards and general goods stores sell by fourfold. It also increases the number of soul gems in random loot by threefold. This included loot found on bandits.

======Requirments======

For this mod to work, all you need is Skyrim.

If you have both Dawnguard and Dragonborn, go here

Well, the original idea I had when I made this was the soul from the soul gem infuses with/ transfers to the piece of clothing. Like some sort of weird enchantment. I guess I didn't really specify that in the description though.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the idea of adventuring in normal clothes, but these are (supposedly) made of regular fabrics... How could they even compare to dragonscale? It just seems kind of odd, especially if one wants to use it earlier in the game 0 then it definitely is OP.

Not really. They don't really have any extra perks besides being a little lighter than the actual armor. The only real differences are visual, so if this is overpowered, so is dragonscale armor.

Stats of the *dragonscale* armor? That's insane, way overpowered.

It does. You'll find it with the two other variants of "Mythical Noble Robes".
