It might still function but you are better off not trying it. I havent got the time anymore to update my mods unfortunately, but they are up for grabs if anyone wants to continue them or make their own versions, anyone is allowed to do anything with any part of any mod I made.


As the title says, this mod allows Black Arks to garrison settlements and move on land. This should allow the player to finally attack and defend coastal settlements, and if he so wishes move the Black Ark further inland, though it will have its penalties.
As a penalty for being able to do so, when Black Arks are in land they will receive a 75% penalty to the force's upkeep and they are now counted in the overall number of armies that raise upkeep values. However, when the Black Ark is either at sea or at a port city, the 75% upkeep penalty will be removed.
Decided to do it this way so it wouldnt cripple the AI since if I simply disable movement on land or limit it severely for Black Arks, the player will know to avoid keeping them on land, but the AI simply will not and will keep trying to move their black arks a tiny bit at a time. This way, they are now normal lords who don't level up and on land they will be more expensive and weaker than their counterpart land lords, so the player will know well to stay away from using them on land much at all, while the AI now has the freedom to actually use them and suicide them or whatever they want to do, thus avoiding the usual problem of the AI stacking useless black arks in the long run.

When the Black Ark is at land, it will behave much like a normal lord, including the normal stances a usual Dark Elf lord has, and when it is on the sea, it will have its normal Black Ark stances.

Should be compatible with most things.

--NOTE WITH LATEST PATCH--
As of the latest patch CA really stepped it up and made important changes to how Black Arks work, making this mod much less necessary. I will keep it up in case someone wants its specifically but good job CA on this one.

Damn this would REALLY come in handy right now. Got my black ark, The Blasted Skeet, parked in Sartosa. Two Bretonnian doomstacks bearing down on me. Battle starts, and all the black ark units and the enemy reinforcements are both entering the battlefield at the same spot, outside the walls. Sooooo dumb.

Without this mod, the Dark Elf AI again has a large cluster of dormant Black Arks :steamsad:

sorry if this has been said before but how does this effect the AI? do they use the new features appropriately or does it just f them?
