Portburg MCC tutorial savegame

Description
This is the savegame that I used to make the tutorial video for my Modern City Center content creator pack. It has a staging area where you can find all of the buildings in the pack, sorted by levels (1-3). There are also some big ready-made sets of buildings to show examples of how they can be combined.

I used assets from Afterdark (bike lanes), Snowfall (trams), Mass Transit (highways), Parklife, Industries, Green Cities and Avanya's European Suburbia CCP. I'm not sure if the savegame will load without some of these DLC, but I'll leave them off of the required list for those of you that don't have them and still want to give it a shot.

This savegame will load fine with no mods at all, but a couple of the parts of the big complexes will despawn. To fill in courtyards, I use TPB's awesome "Plop the Growables," and the best way to pick and choose from the buildings is with Boogieman Sam's "Find It!." Below is a list of mods that I recommend to get the most out of the pack, as well as some tips on how to use them.

Recommended Mods
  • Daylight Classic - can't live without it

  • Dynamic Resolution - great anti-aliasing for screenshots

  • Find It 2! by BoogiemanSam - Search "MCW" for whole pack or "MC 01" through "MC 17" to bring them up in groups

  • Fine Road Anarchy

  • Fine Road Tool

  • Move It! by Samsam/Quiboid - You can EXPORT entire sets from my savegame and IMPORT them into your savegame!

  • Painter by TPB - Every building has a colormask so that you can color them as you like

  • Plop the Growables by TPB - allows you to plop MCC buildings directly and prevents them from despawning in weird positions, like over roads

  • Prop Line Tool - use it to make a perfect line of courtyard filler props (findit "MC prop")

  • Prop Snapping

  • Transparent Selectors - lets you see what you're doing when you want to make a perfect weld

Here is a MoveIt! export file of the MCC buildings in the staging area.[www.dropbox.com]

I hope this helps you enjoy the pack and use it to its full potential. Feel free to ask questions in the comments. If you bought this CCP, thank you!

@Julian JAT Sounds like a cool project. I'd be happy to give you advice along the way. Will you be posting screenshots of your progress somewhere?

@Julian JAT, I know you're probably not going to get a response from @AmiPolizeiFunk, although I can help you retexture and model some stuff for your airport. Hit me up if you wanna do anything. :steamhappy:

My name is Julian and I am nine years old. I live in the U.S. In C:S I am going to build a highly-detailed airport called West Coast International Airport. Please let me know if you want to do it with me. :)
