Medicine Expanded - Nitroglycerin

Description
This is the second mod in the Medicine Expanded series, this time adding the blood thinner nitroglycerin to help compensate for conditions like artery blockage. While it provides a flat-out 15% boost to blood pumping, it comes with the nasty side-effect of causing frequent and painful headaches that reduce consciousness, so it's really best only used on colonists who need it.

This medicine requires Medicine Production research, a drug lab, 3 chemfuel, and one neutroamine to produce, and has a dosage interval of one day. Excessive intake can lead to... problems.

This mod may receive some balance patches as I get feedback, but don't expect the overall functionality to change. I was going to make this a mod that just suppressed the hediffs for artery blockage, but I decided that would come in a later, more effective mod.

This mod is safe to add to existing saves, and I don't think it should cause issues if removed, but be warned, this has not been tested.

IF YOU ADD THIS MOD TO AN EXISTING SAVE YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE A NEW DRUG POLICY IN ORDER TO ASSIGN IT AS SUCH! IT WILL NOT APPEAR IN EXISTING POLICIES!!!

@TurtleShroom It does not; these mods have not been maintained since 1.0. While @NECEROS should have you covered if you search "Medicine Expanded" on the workshop, he is also no longer maintaining his fantastic library of mods, which may be sufficient reason that I will do a redux of these mods sooner or later.

@michael It's been a while since I wrote it, but if I remember correctly, I jury rigged it as a flat-out blood flow increase to combat things like artery blockage.

Nitro is not a blood thinner. It is a vasodillator and acts by opening the blood vessels up, particularly in the heart. That is why it is used to treat heart conditions resulting from blocked and occluded arteries.

Medical nitro won't explode. Despite MacGyver in the 80s using it as such, although that version of it might of been that kind of volatile.... Anyway, it's like chocolate, everyone knows it's an aphrodisiac,,, what they don't know is you have to eat 7lbs of it in one sitting, and it has to be REAL chocolate, not hersheys or any of the shit you normally think of as chocolate. I imagine medical nitro is pretty much the same.

As neat as that would be, medical nitroglycerin is in pill form, I think suspended in a matrix that renders it non-volatile (would really suck to pop one in your mouth and have it detonate). Maybe I'll make a nitroglycerin or cordite mod at some point though.
