Description
Hello and welcome to Vulka! I'm the YouTuber, BonBonB, and you are very very welcome.

A few months ago one of my BonBonBuddies wondered if it would be possible to create a live volcano. And here we are today with the result of the collaboration of a small team. I especially want to SeaWolf77079, without whose groundwork none of this would be possible.

A second shout out goes to YuriVII. His map, Vilyuchevskaya Bay ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1589836590 ) is the canvas for Vulka!. It's been converted from a Snowfall map to temperate, with a custom created theme applied. I've completely overhauled the roads, rails, and trees. The rivers have been tidied up, there's some extensive terrain work along the coast, and a lot of minor terrain tweaks across the map. All told I've spent around 15 hours reshaping the original map. More could be done, but I didn't want to take away the heart and soul of the original creation. So, thank you Yuri for the original ground work.


There aren't many essential requirements, just a few trees and NExt2, but if you want your map to match the thumbnails above you will need some mods and settings.

This kind of cool, Yet. All the times I have been near volcanoes, I've never seen a tree or log surviving lava flows. When lava is flowing white hot or even cooling down to the orange, trees and bush, logs and or flammable objects will still burn very quickly in it's path! There is nothing floating on lava but it's cooling ash! It's still a cool map with the volcanic flow.... Where's the ash cloud???

Will you be doing a fly over similar to your reviews?
I think that would be great for people who play on consoles and can't play the map.
This map really caught my eye because the idea I have for the map I want to make has an impact crater and the thought that the impact opened a lava vent is intriguing.

Hi all, please give this map a thumbs up ( a like) if you read this ... what BonBonB made is truly revolutionary, and with a bit of luck Colossal Order will see this, and make an awesome DLC ... but we need your help by subscribing to this map and the theme, and liking both: so they will notice we want LAVA and VOLCANOES!!!!

Me too. I hope you get my pm about my true design intention of the new one. There is more than you think going on. The bad roads on the original were intetional. It's supposed to be a big "fuck you" to the player. Never intended to be an easy map to build on. I managed to build one up to 150k no problemo, very little mods.
