This tree is literally present in all of my maps :)

@pdelmo, any information I can add, please ask. I actually have a couple of other individual trees that do this, an elm and an oak if I recall correctly, which is why I chose the original group of trees in the test screenshots. I do have a gazillion mods running however, so I am not convinced it is your mod with a problem.
I did turn off anything that should effect color, but with such an abusive mod list as mine, I always assume the problem lies with me.
I was just hoping it was something you had seen before.
Thank you for your most gracious responses to my inquiry. Have a great one!:steamhappy:

as you can see in my screenshots above

hmm very odd. In my own game this does not happen. thanks for the heads up. I have a feeling it may be due to using the colour map to make them darker and not the diffuse texture.

@pdelmo, Made an in-game test patch, the ones I originally used on the left and yours on the right. Both shift color, just more noticeable with yours. Screenshot stock temperate, no LUTs, shadows low and short, detail and texture medium. https://imgur.com/a/LVgisWr
Yours still look great, just kind of a jarring color change.

ok it might just be because you are in the map editor. for some reason things are not rendered the same. try them in game and see. also the LUT and shadows look to have very high contrast. another reason is the LODs don't show shadows the same as the main model, they have a lot less self shadowing making them look lighter in colour.

@pdelmo, Sorry my written description was a little vague. Here is the album you requested, I notated each screenshot. https://imgur.com/gallery/75ru5aW
Getting ready to release my first map, saw these wonderful trees and redid the entire map. Unfortunately I never zoomed in quite enough as the map was done except for the trees, so I didn't realize until play testing.
I hope it's something simple, really like these trees a lot as I live in the Pacific Northwest so these are what I see everyday.

next time you are in game take a SC and post what you mean with a imgur. The texture is light and it has been made darker with the colour map. maybe something going on with that in your game.

@pdelmo These look great, but at medium close render distance they are suddenly light in color, whereas closeup and medium, medium far to far they are a gorgeous dark shade. I use the tree LOD fix BUT have a gazillion mods as well so this may be a conflict or something misadjusted. Any thoughts?

Not it
