Never forget where you started.


A tribute level for the two year anniversary for A Hat in Time.



Hat Kid's memories seem to have drifted herself down quite a sight, a door is blocking to the rest of her ship! She looks outside and sees the planet she went to years ago... What's going on? There's one way to find out, which is to enter through the door!

What lies beyond the door is quite a trek.



Word of warning, this level takes awhile to load, sorry about that!

Hello again, thank you all for the support for this level, it means a whole lot to me.
If you are having trouble finding the note.int (which we are way past the spoiler period at this point), I suggest going to this link [www.nexusmods.com] to download the actual package as is without steam workshop screwery; which I will include in the description later. Again, thank you all, and you all are the reason why I keep going. :necroheart:

Amazing level, incredibly well done!
I can't seem to find note.int though, I found localisation/INT/ but no note.int :/
Oh well, regardless, this level was heartwarming!

This is a great homage to the entire Hat in Time game; perfect to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of this game. Can't wait to see the future of this universe.

And to Snatcher. I know what you mean(and hopefully it doesn't ruin the experience), but you didn't miss the controllers. The Switch Tablet is docked. The two controllers-colored neon red and neon blue, and fits in one hand-are beyond the tablet; the location where you cannot see. But we know it is there...waiting for the tablet to open...and preparing to welcome us in a shining embrace.

gotta say i loved the amount of effort put into this tribute for the second anniversary for one of my favorite games but i got to ask, what is the music used at the end of this level?

@MRBRAWLS'SPOOKYDOOTS, Thanks for the best wishes. I can tell you from experience that translating and localizing a game into a different language takes a lot of work. In addition, given its endangered status, an online translator for it does not exist. So I had to translate and localize it the old 1980's 1990's fashion: dictionaries and following the rules.

I also forgot to mention that the use of the Title Screen theme as you travel throughout the level really hits home. You've made an excellent choice with music used for this mod.
