Description
[NOTE: This comes with gravity stabilizers switched on by default. To toggle these, press the programmable block icon in the first toolbar. If this does not work, turn on scripts in your world, or turn off the gyro override in the control panel.]

The Su-115 "Burevestnik" (Petrel) is an all-environment SSTO troop transport designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau in the year 2057 to provide close air support and troop mobility both on-planet and in space. Originally used exclusively by Spetsnaz Group Vympel, this aircraft was eventually mass produced for use as a troop transport for the entire Red Army.

The Su-115 is a single-pilot hydrogen/atmospheric/ion powered aircraft. The aircraft can carry up to 6 passengers in its internal troop bay, and has a respawn room for additional convenience. It features two parachutes to assist with reentry, and is capable of breaking gravity of any of the vanilla planets.

The Su-115 has increased loiter time in-atmosphere due to its large complement of atmospheric thrusters, but it is recommended to keep an eye on hydrogen fuel levels or even turn the hydrogen thrusters off entirely for prolonged atmospheric use. It is also recommended to keep some amount of ice in the cargo container for the many O2/H2 generators to use.

No rotors essential to vehicle function. No mods. Designed to be practical for survival use.

Sure. When did I deny that?

This is good news. Thanks for informing us. @CrimsonAdder You seem to lack imagination. Small grids are still useful for people who are just starting out in a server, for everything from mining, to transport, to recon and small skirmishes with other new players. They can also be easily mass produced to make guided missiles, drone formations and fighter/bomber squadrons for the more powerful players. Of course, no small manned fighter can or should be able to take on something as large as a battleship - crewed or not - all by itself. The game should reward us for the time and effort that goes into construction of a large grid, not the other way around. Also, have you ever heard of strength in numbers?

I tested in my SP world a few months back, no damage at like 803 meters lol

Anyways yes it's quite lightly armed and armored, intended to be used as essentially a cheap mobile respawn point with some protection from enemies
CrimsonAdder  [author] 8 Aug, 2019 @ 9:00pm
lol you would be able to snipe turrets if the gatling gun rounds didn't dissipate at 800 meters, somewhat recent change, I believe it's 750-800m dissipation distance

Hello, I am from www spaceengineershelper net, we are creating a monthly report on the mods released on the workshop, playtime of Space Engineers and the use of our tools. Is it okay if we use your view count, subscriber count and favourite count for use in our report? Your mod will be referenced in our bibliography of the report. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about it or if you do not want to be involved. Thanks :D
