Description
Now works as a standalone mod – no other mods needed! A big thanks to Sebidee, Adopotato and Captain Sisko (formerly known as Zesty Mordant Soul) for their permission and support in implementing their work and into one self-sufficient package.

NOTICE: Due to the structure of the game's files, overhaul mods will typically conflict with the officer mods. SFO users should use the Revisited compatibility submod All Faction Officers Revisited - SFO Compatibility Submod to have all of the new officers appear in their game and ensure the game runs as SFO intended.

What this mod does

Loving the original Sebidee & Ado's All Faction Officers and having made a small submod for Soul's updated version of it, I took a good long look at each of the officer models. Inspiration struck, and I decided to modify some of them for my own playing pleasure.

The some of the changed officers are visible in the screen shots and all of them are detailed below in the discussions. If an officer isn't listed there, it was likely crafted by Sebidee, Adopotato and Captain Sisko. If an officer is listed there, it's probably build on the groundwork laid out by them. As with Soul's All Faction Officers Revival, the changes are lore-friendly(ish). More on that in the Why it does it discussion.

Why it does it

There's many reasons for the particular changes I chose to make, too many to explain in detail on the mod page itself. If you're curious about that stuff you can read my reasonings and some lore justifications in the relevant pinned thread in the discussions section of this mod page.

A big thank you again to Flamboyant Schemer61 and Xoudad for all the useful modding advice when I was doing the All Faction Officers compatibility patch for SFO! The insight I received helped me a great deal here as well. A great thank you to Decomposed for helping me with finding all the animations I needed, and to Commisar Jon ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for their time and efforts in helping me troubleshoot this mod when it started crashing the game.

And if you wish to use the models other modders worked on, be sure to ask them for permission first. Though I had great fun with this project, I'd love to see how other people might change the officers or what you might add to them. Mod away!

Iirc, it sort of worked for some units but not at all for others. I've also read other mod makers saying it makes things unstable, since Total War Warhammer titles aren't built to use those slots to begin with - they're relics from the previous historical titles the TWWs were built upon.

Would it not be possible to move the officers to a different slot? Or does it not work that way

Unfortunately it's not, as the officers and standard bearers occupy the same "slot".

I don't have Total War Warhammer 3 yet so I haven't been able to test it, but I understand the mod structures are fairly similar so it's worth a shot.
