State of the mod

I started this mod to maintain an SFO submod for Soul's All Faction Officers Revival for my own use for when Soul (now known as Captain Sisko) was out of the modding scene. Since then, I have started exclusively using my own All Faction Officers Revisited and its SFO compatibility submod, and with some regret I must admit I would like to spend my modding hours on improving them rather than keeping this mod up to date. As such, this mod will not be receiving further updates from me for the foreseeable future.

Keeping this mod up-to-date is simple, but time consuming. If you would like to continue it on your own Workshop page, and have checked that no one else has beat you to it, let me know in the comments and I'd be happy to create a discussion on this mod page that tells you what you need to do. If you're interested in modding Total War games in general and don't know where to start, I think learning how a compatibility mod like this works is a great place to start!

What this mod does

It makes Soul's All Faction Officers Revival compatible with the SFO: Grimhammer II version that works with Shadow & Blade. You need both mods for it to work as intended.

It includes all of the officers included in the vanilla version, except for the chaos horse chariot officer. Not all units have officers, but most of the ones you would think to have them do.

As of Shadow & Blade, this mod ads assassin officers for Eshin Triads.

Why it does it

I enjoy the variety the officers bring to the look of the battle field, and like using them when I play. However, since adding the officers requires touching unit value tables that determine their hit points and such, Soul's All Faction Officers isn't strictly speaking compatible with overhauls and other mods that also alter those tables. With the previous SFO compatibility patch going for a hiatus for an undetermined time I made the required changes myself.

I removed the chaos horse chariot officer because it was causing the unit to act more ha-ha chaotic than you might expect from the Warriors of Chaos. From the Carnival of Chaos, perhaps, but not the Warriors of Chaos.

It was pretty simple in the end, but without their time and help I wouldn't have even realised it - and with what I've learned more stuff is on the way.

I have also uploaded a standalone mod that alters some of the officers: All Faction Officers Revisited. If you wish to use it, you should switch over to the new compatibility mod to get to see all of the new officers in your SFO game.

Is Soul's mod causing issues with this one? I use my Revisited SFO version so I only did a quick testing on this one to see that it works.

You do need Soul's mod but this mod should do all the updating that Soul's mod requires - just for SFO specifications instead of vanilla.

The mods do two slightly different things, and don't need to be used together. You have a choice to make, and the choice determines what mods you need.

If you only want to see the officers that were in Soul's All Faction Officers Revival, you only need to have these mods:

SFO: Grimhammer II + Soul's All Faction Officers Revival + Soul's All Faction Officers Revival SFO: GH2 Compatibility Patch - Resurrected!

If you want even more officer variation but a different style (check screenshots here ), you should use these mods:

so i have this mod and also souls all faction officers revival, so is this also ok with SFO plus i have the Total War: WARHAMMER II> Workshop > ihKu47's Workshop

Random fun fact: I had one of my Exalted heros assasinated early in the game by a witch hunter agent and about 30-40 rounds later i get my revenge by doing the same to the WH :3
