Description
***DISCLAIMER: READ THIS FIRST***

This mod functions by replacing the default pause menu to add a new menu option. It is not compatible with other mods that extend the pause menu, such as the old dead Weapon Select Mod. Other menu mods may need to be removed or they may not function properly.

***********************************************

This mod gives an extra option at the bottom of your pause menu that opens a new player select menu that lets you easily change your current player character whenever you want. This will also allow new mod playable characters to be added without needing to spawn a special actor in the hub.

This mod uses code that is heavily based off of player swap code designed by Argle Bargle, so special thanks to him! Also special thanks to Crash for letting me use their player mods in my screenshots.

Switching playables mid level could cause issues depending on how the level is setup, especially for mod levels.

Notes to Modders:
-Modders will need to manually setup the localization for the player names, as well as the player icon. Some player characters may look strange if modders have not properly set this up, however, it should still work fine.
-To set up the name for your player classes, add a new section to the collectibles.int localization file for [players]. Then, use your player class name as the localization key for your player name. Also, to set up the icon, you will need to set up the Objective Actor, with your desired icon.
-You can disable this in mod levels by setting the "PlayerSelect_SafeMode" level bit to 1 through kismet. This will prevent the menu from being able to be opened in levels.
-Playables with class names ending with "_Restrict" will now be filtered out of the menu. This should prevent playables from mods using the old hat restrict system from showing up in the menu(if they're named correctly). It also adds a basic way for someone to make their playable not appear in the menu for whatever reason, although it does mean they'd have to name their player class accordingly

Yeah, I think the kill stats mod added some extra stuff to make a bunch of the menu mods compatible with each other.

And yes they both affect the pause menu

Hey um, when I installed the kill stats mod, the player select menu mod suddenly was compatible with both the kill stats mod and the extended max badges mod, is there a reason why that happened?
