My first Submission for the Purple Rifts. Exploring a moment from Hat Kids past plus her incredible imagination.


This Purple Rift follows the story of a younger hat kid sitting in her room, rain pouring down outside. All of a sudden, lightning strikes, destroying her favourite reading tree! Terrified, Hat Kid realises that only a pillow fort will make her safe, so she plans to build the best pillow fort she can, before the storm becomes too strong and scary for young Hat Kid to handle!
