Description
This 78-piece collection of railroad components from Interstellar Pacific contains everything you need to get started building infrastructure. An IPRR starter set features straightaways, bends, inclines, switches, and buffers in six different track types. It also comes with a variety of signals, accessories, and brand-name rolling stock to get your industry started on the right track. Choo choo!

This parts collection allows you to build your own (decorative) railroads. I put it together primarily for building stations. I recommend scaling the entire thing to the size you want and then copying and pasting in the pieces you need. I've found that the best way to align the tracks is to use the rail (use alt while you paste to select root block), the best way to align locomotives and rail cars is to use the coupler. Don't forget to merge everything when you're done to save on block count!

I am planning several expansion sets to this in the future, so stay tuned.

EDIT (7/7/2019): Volume Two is now available!

A few notes about specific pieces:

-The track with the lowest block count is type 4 (no ties, no third rail).

-The standard coupler, wheels, and premade undercarriage assembly are there if you wish to make your own rolling stock.

-The switch track can't be rotated into every possible configuration and you may need to mirror it to get it to look the way you want.

-While I've included catenary supports and a locomotive with a pantograph, I don't currently have a great system for doing catenary lines - specifically, switches and turns. You're on your own with these for now. Addressed in Volume Two.

-The only trinium used is for reflectors on the space coal car and locomotive. Every other railroad piece is iron.

-Several of the train pieces reference other companies. MEC, Ikeda Munitions, and Zethina Manufacturing are other projects of mine.

-There are cargo shuttle versions of one of the steam locomotives and the electric switcher with box gondola. There is a fighter version of the red caboose.
