Hat Kid's Adventure in South Island

Play through some recreations of Sonic 1 (Master System/Game Gear) levels in this 2D-ish level!


Made for the Retro Modding Jam in the Discord channel.


The original intention was to do all the way up to Sky Base, but due to time constraints it only goes up to the start of Labyrinth Zone. I may come back to do the rest another time, we'll see.


Requires no particular hats, but it's also not balanced around any of them so you're probably gonna break the level in interesting ways with certain hats!


There may still be some optimization issues, so beware of that.


Textures and music belong to Sega of America, but the modelling and UVmapping etc is all original work.
