Welcome once again! I'm glad to finally release this map.

Side note: Thank you for supporting this map, it has won 4th place in Killing Floor 2 Mapping Contest in category Best Survival Map. It meant a huge deal to me, thank you!

Tripwire Interactive Judge Notes: Verticality was a strong element of this map as you descend through multiple basement layers of the complex. We also appreciated the use of changing weather elements as a brewing sandstorm approaches over the duration of the match.

Back in 1980's Silo Seven was a military base with a fully operational nuclear missile silo. Being part of the nuclear program it contained 1 missile with storage of few more warheads and a working machinery to replace rocker 1 after another. Until few days ago when Horzine decided to move their mobile base carrying important research and supplies into the abandoned military base. Horzine officers managed to crack open old military bunker and even restore power, but without even finishing reinforcing mobile base it was attacked.

This map features:
- Plenty of space to run around and shoot zeds above surface as well as big bunker. Map has it's traditional KF2 design leaving no dead-ends.
- Sand storm! Silo Seven has an event which can happen pretty randomly, where you faced to fight zeds in a strong and loud sand storm or hide in the bunker away from all this sand in your face but still with the bunch of zeds. Make your choice!
- Optimization. Map was optimized as good as possible with meshes combined, light's edited, distance set for every mesh and Precomputed Visibility Volumes build, it should run like a piece of cake on your cheesy laptop or powerful rig providing you all FPS.
- Blocking volumes. This technique always helps your through your gameplay making your run as smooth as possible and preventing exploits.
- Stand your ground and of course ammo\weapons picks. ZEDs spawn from a variety of locations both inside and outside the map. Portal entries are in the map and working.
- Bugs free. I played a huge amount of times through it making sure it's has all the little bugs and details fixed.
- Official map quality. With all listed above, without doubt I can say that this map provides official map quality and great experience.

"Official Map Quality" is an insult to this map, this is head and shoulders above most of whats in-game already.

Cool custom map with sand storm event. The performances are not really great and deteriorate quickly after the first wave. I played it HoE solo with my survivalist lvl 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_wsidd8_dM

Nice map, I like the sandstorm feature but I feel like sandstorm is being quite a bit too loud...

Fixed a bug where you could still hear sounds and get camera shake if you die during storm and respawn after.

A little too big. Maybe remove the trader pod from the very bottom of the map so it's not impossible to get to in time if you're on the surface.

Hi =)
This evening i died in sandstorm and saw this error messages in chat.

After respawn storm sound was bugged, some places loud, some places no storm sound.
And ground was shaking until end of map, also after storm ended.

Hope this helps a bit.
