@Titan_658, Just look up MrNJersey's tutorials on everything. He's got a radar one. (with a monitor screen) I'm not much of a LUA person, when I get to that stage I'll most likely be downloading and crediting microcontrollors

actually any advice for getting radars to actually pick up objects (other vessels) more reliably?
Titan_658 9 Oct, 2020 @ 9:01pm
ah gotcha, I figured something was off, a lot of designs I have subbed to are out dated. Actually in the process of doing a overhaul of a ship that was meant for EA 4.30. Any way good luck with the revamp

Well, this is outdated, it's from a time when Electric motors where more powerful and had less drain. I'm currently working on revamping it for 1.0

Is any one else having the batteries for the engines only last for like 5 secs before dying?
SgtStuka  [author] 21 Jul, 2019 @ 1:56pm
@Sinc, this build still has the water jets which when I first built it did not have a reverse option so the reversing ability came from the small electric motor... which has also changed since building. I don't get much time to go over these builds and update them as fast as the devs bring out new things as I like to play-test and stress test every design. But simply to reverse, it's W/S with the Electric motor on.

seems like the reverse button is not present

a quick check of the electrical loop shows that is indeed the case.

The side electrical connectors are ONLY attached to the generator power system, and do not connect to the engine power system.

idk if you fixed this as well, but I brought a ship to try and juice it up, and connected it to the electrical connector next to fuel.

After 15 minutes of sitting there with the engine running on the other ship pushing power to something, I think the power is going to the generator batteries.

Before teleporting out of rescue 3, I turned off the generator, but left the lights and such on. So that battery was draining, and now its being filled up from the other ship. But I don't think the engine batteries are filling up at all, as the cabin still can't be accessed(buttons don't work as theyre apparently powered by engine battery, not generator). Looking in from the outside, the generator battery dial looks like its maxed, while the engine battery dial hasn't budged.
