@kyloth: hiya.. the 3D tiles are borked because of the transparency issue on the trees. are you not experiencing that? (they show up as invisible ghost outlines on some/most video cards). but cheers for the crash into. i will look into that. thanks for letting me know.

This module is very unique due to the 3D Tiles. That said I find that the Swamp and Swamp Jungle when trying to delete them from the board cause the game to crash. If this issue can be fixed this would be rated #1 in my books.
Thanks

@MadDoc: the site we store the images at.... is the steam cloud. there is nothing in this mod that we haven't made and hosted ourselves....on the steam cloud. If you can please let me know *which* "3D icons" are giving you this problem, i will double check them. i'm sorry, my fat fingers deleted your last comment, but there is nothing malicious in this mod, whatsoever. and of course, you're welcome to not play it, if you feel it unsafe.

When the cloud permission pops up for the urls for the 3d icons my virus blocker gives message that the site is blocked due to trojan. so its not in your mod but likely the site you store the images at.

@MadDoc: eh? far as i know, everything is on the "steam cloud". the 3D tiles were just moved from one end of the table to the other. if you do spot any problem files (though i can't see why), let me know and i'll sort them. thanks for checking it out.

Im getting a trojan warning with the custom url for the 3d pieces.

@RocketMan: lol... thanks for the maths, which made my head hurt. :) i did the best i could, but the game is still lacking in several places. mea culpa. "steam friend" me, if you've got ideas that could improve it for people. i'd be up for that.. i've just uploaded the "discoveries" tokens, and the Tributary PDF (many thanks to 'Philip', for that one). cheers..

@Kendo353: Another minor thing I noticed. The terrain key and the cool 8 sided die you included for determining terrain in a hex is not accurate. The rules state that you roll a D6 to determine terrain in a hex and then if you roll Jungle/Mountain/Swamp you roll another D6 to determine if you have Jungle Mountain or Jungle Swamp.

With a D8, the probability of getting Jungle Swamp or Jungle Mountain is 0.125. Having to roll two D6 makes the probability of getting a Jungle Swamp or Jungle Mountain:

1/6 (first die Jungle) * 1/3 (second die Mountain or Swamp) + 1/3 (first die Mountain or Swamp) * 1/6 (second die Jungle) = 0.111.

Not a huge deal and I suspect if 8 sided dice were common in 1978 the designers would have just used an 8 sided dice instead of rolling a D6 twice.

I can't find a way to show both the terrain and a river in a hex. If you put two tiles in a hex it just stacks them and you can only see the top one. Is there a way to be able to see both tiles in the hex?

I played around with making the background for the river tile transparent except for the river itself but the transparent part just shows as black. I also tried just drawing a line using the Draw tools in the game, but that just draws on the board and then the terrain tile covers it.

The only way I can figure to do it is to make a large amount of individual tiles with the proper terrain/river combinations, but that's a lot of tiles.

I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

@RocketMan: oops. remiss of me not to include them. perhaps it was because Dr. Livingstone can be a player character, and it would be odd discovering himself. :) thanks for the offer, but i'll be upping the tributary mod soon, and i'll take care of it then. cheers for the reminder.
