Fallout Character Model Pack

Description
A pack of several character models from Fallout: New Vegas, and power armor from Fallout 4. Includes humans both male and female, as well as some power armor and some super mutants. The wasteland has been hit by a horrendous plague that has infected everyone with Male Pattern Baldness, and thus the only male models with hair are nerds in labcoats and greasers. Currently, all the human models have an alternate rifle, pistol, shoulder mounted weapon and heavy weapon pose. Do not expect the T-60 Power Armor to have poses any time in the near future, because I don't have 3DSMax or a bajillion dollars to buy it.

Check out my Monster Model Pack too!: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1514130017

The character models all have poses for weapons. Check out my Fallout Weapon Pack here!: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1515229256

If you want to use this in your mod you have my permission to do so as long as you credit me for porting the models

Everytime I try to load a tabletop session that uses these models, they fail to import with the error message "Failed to load Custom_Model. Parameter name:key cannot be null. Any help?

Would you be able to explain how you made these so that I can get more models from the game? I want to use vertibirds, cars, furniture, building pieces, etc.

Why not ask around then? I'm sure someone would be willing export it for you. Heck, might even be worth it to comment on the blender forum.

That said, wonderful job on these. running a post-nuke game... and this is damned useful.

Thank you.

The other option is to build the skeleton from scratch and manually rig it to every individual power armor... But that's a lot of work that uses up a lot of time I don't have.

In order for me to pose the model, I need to import it into blender in .nif form since that format comes with the bones that are required for posing. Simply exporting it as an .obj using NIFSkope won't work because .obj files do not come with a rigged skeleton. Ordinarily, importing .nif files is not an issue; Blender has a plugin that handles it, and is what I used to import models from New Vegas. However, Fallout 4's .nif extension is different from the ones of previous games, and Blender's Nif plugin is incapable of handling the different format. 3DSMax, on the other hand, does have an up-to-date Nif plugin, which is why I would need it in order to pose the power armor.

Why do you need 3dMax to pose the power armor?
