HMR 60- Superheavy Mining Rig

Description
HMR 60 Superheavy Mining Rig

The HMR 60 is the primary Super-heavy Mining Rig used to gather and process ore on colonised worlds and moons. The rig is equipped to allow a large degree of autonomy and is somewhat of a mobile base, with a medbay and cryotube bay large enough to comfortably support a crew of 3, although the rig can be operated by just 1 with the aid of the logic unit.

The logic unit allows the drill to bore a 60m deep hole and retract with the press of one button. It also handles the deployment and locking of the stabilisers and the offloading arm.

Features
  • Vanilla, fully stocked and survival ready*.
  • Automated drilling system.
  • Advanced control cabin.
  • Stabilised drilling column.
  • Gravity- fed spoil chute to reduce complex components.
  • Observation post and long-range comms array.
  • Refineries and gas production.
  • Pressurised cabin.
  • Anti-Piracy defences.
  • Fully walkable exterior.
  • Artificial masses and gravity generators.

*To build the drilling pistons, reduce the height offset of the buffer wheels to the minimum.
Usage instructions are located in the cabin.

the giant tube that i believe is trying to dispose of extra stone, is there a hatch to let it fall out? because the stone is just sitting there doing nothing.

I've ran into the issue that in the bottom of the spoil chute the gap wasn't big enough for the excess stone to be ejected. I simply removed the window pieces in the way but thought I'd let you know (maybe from an update?). I also noticed occasionally some of the rocks shot out of the top and onto the back end roof of the rig as well. For its size it moves well, but I still have trouble moving it around although I always seem to have issues driving wheeled vehicles in this game.

Part of it's probably spawned as a station. If you paste it in low to the ground space engineers sometimes decides that it's a station even If it doesn't look like it. Delete it, reload the blueprint and spawn it in so that all wheels are at least 3 blocks above the ground. The suspension should be able to handle it.

Always check by pressing P. I feel like an idiot for making the exact same mistake.
