Simple Concrete Alt

Description
DEPRECATED. Use this version for 1.1, it includes the same recipes in a more elegant manner.

Ever wondered why "concrete" floors were made from steel? This mod changes that. It adds a new material, concrete, which is slightly cheaper but more work- and infrastructure-intensive than stone blocks to produce but in return is almost as strong as granite and takes significantly less time to build.

Production

First, produce cement from chunks at an Electric Smelter. Use limestone for maximum efficiency. Then, produce Concrete at a refinery from cement and other stone chunks.

Disclaimers

I'm aware that the process is heavily simplified from real life. This mod was designed for game balance, not realism.

This mod will not be formally updated to 1.1 because of how I implemented recipes in the main version.

Seems like this mod works in 1.1 without incidents :3

@Fleu De Lynx I worded that a bit unclearly, I'll clean it up; the original 1.0 mod is the one which has mod support (i.e. using sand and crushed rocks if Fertile Fields is installed), this one does not.

Big fan of this mod, but I have a question!

Forgive me if it's obvious, but the original 1.0 mod said that this one has mod support? What exactly does that mean? Is it compatible with other mods? If so, which?

@VirtualGaming That might be convenient for you, but I've had multiple save games burned when mods updated in place, and Tynan himself has recommended against it. It's not that bad to unsubscribe to an old mod and subscribe to a new one; in fact, you can even use the B19 version on 1.0 if it's such a pain to you.

how about on here because i like it keep the mods that is on workshop so they auto update

@VirtualGaming It's already updated; you can find it here .

when you going to update the version?
dninemfive  [author] 18 Oct, 2018 @ 3:29pm
@GLaDToBeStillAlive It should work fine right now, but I'm planning on updating the version for convenience's sake.

More update plans are present in the collection this mod is in.

Hey, thanks for making this mod--I really enjoy it. Do you plan to update it for 1.0, or do you expect this version to work fine for the new update?
