Description
Adds a civilization based on mythological oni (particularly as depicted in the Touhou games) to the game!

Unique Ability: Onikakushi
Pre-gunpowder melee units heal after destroying an enemy unit. Capturing enemy cities increases the population in the capital, and each time a city increases population you gain points towards a Great General.

Unique Building: Brewery
Produces +3 Food, as well as +1 Food from Wheat, Bananas, Deer, Wine, and Citrus. These bonuses are doubled during Golden Ages. Melee and Recon units trained in a city with a Brewery receive a unique Drunken Master promotion. Replaces the Granary. (Allows the creation of internal trade routes to exchange food as the Granary does.)

Unique Unit: Kishin
Replaces the Great General. Reduces the strength of enemy units within 2 tiles by 10%, and provides a bonus to city attacking to nearby friendly units. Cannot construct a Citadel, but can start a Golden Age.

As I'm planning to update my mods to fix various bugs and implement more mod compatibility, I wanted to take the opportunity to revise Suika a bit to hopefully make her more interesting and effective. I've revised the UA to produce a bit more internal synergy, as well as encouraging more aggression, while the Brewery has been adjusted a bit to give a bonus during Golden Ages. (It seems like a good time for drinking and partying!) The Kishin is largely unchanged, but has a new unit model, thanks to Nomad or What.

for the Oni Saki land tile, do i need a plantation or something for it? it gives no options for tile improvements like plantation or even farm

This mod is definitely way overpowered. The giant food bonuses and easy golden ages alone could place this into being far above everything else by playing passively off of specialist slots, but everything else regarding military makes it so that a player using this is nearly unbeatable. The only part of this near being balanced is the great general, which is actually pretty interesting with its perk, but even that is sent beyond jokingly overpowered with its synergy with the already overpowered granary allowing a single tile to feed a decently sized city.

I like the ideas behind it though.

Suika is so ridiculously expansionistic. I've had her as an AI in two games. In one, she took over an entire continent before I even got astrology so I could meet her, and in the other, she waged an ineffectual naval war against me from the medieval era to the end of the game. (I wasn't even close to her, but for some reason she was never willing to end it.) It might make sense to tone that setting down a bit.

Oh, they're perfectly usable without Events and Decisions -- I've just been having a fun using them to incorporate little bits of mythology like the sake bug and the Night Parade of 100 Oni. But the mod works fine without needing the additional mods I'm adding compatibility for.

I just hope that Sukritact's Events and Decisions compatability doesn't break this mod at all since I dont' want to have to use another mod to use this mod. Also I really do NOT like that other mod at all so forcing it onto this would not be a good idea

@MS-06S: I'm actually in the process of revising the mod right now, including cleaning up some of the visual issues with icons, modifying the uniques a bit to enhance Suika's playstyle, and adding in some compatibility with other mods (particularly Sukritact's Events and Decisions).

I'm looking at this mod again after your later works but I'm wondering if you're going to impliment some of the fixes you had from later mods (the small icon's not working and other little things like that)
