Terraformers

Description
Each faction starts the game with a unique indestructible terraforming ship. Since the Vodyani don't terraform, they get a version of the ship that harvest Essence from special nodes.

Terraforming is fully unlocked at the start of the game. Players have access to both the Riftborn and Non-Riftborn terraforming trees. No changes were made to the terraforming trees in this mod.


TECHNOLOGY STAGE UNLOCKS
-"Science and Exploration II" adds 2 support/defense modules
-"Science and Exploration III" adds a better terraforming module

update: i don't get the options to spawn or not spawn the ship likely a mod conflict

I've loved this mod since it came out, but I'm a recent ESG convert. because they fiddled with the terraforming techs, they can't work together - the modules on the ship don't function as terraformers. Any chance of an ESG version?

vodaina get a big essence ship instead, they don't have any terraform tech.

i have the same issue as dylan, but i think the problem is then the ai gets on, and it just wouldn't be able to use it right i think. defaulting to off prevents this. it works, even with mods that change teraforming but it can lead to too many options to pick what you actually want, and mess up some other mods or not work depending on the order stuff gets loaded in.

Is there any way to make the initial quest default to "Add Terraformer", or at least make the quest a requirement to proceed. I always forget to click that button on the side (as most of the time I don't bother), and therefore don't have a terraformer - which is the whole point of this mod.

If you aren't already, you might want to see if there is a way to not accidentally activate the Nakalim's quest when working on the eco option. I just got Evaporators and it automatically considered the quest done.

Again, that's what I thought. I don't think I'm using any mods (I don't use many) that would affect this but it seems like a lot of my recent games have one type of luxury being common in a sector to the point where it's often hard to get to your Stage 4 companies without having to reuse the same luxury every step along the way.

Luxury and resources are set before the game begins. Terraforming wont change it. I made a curiosity cheat sheet [docs.google.com] to help me remember what planets will likely hold them.
