Description
The -Forge- Subsistence is an Unlock Level 10 Capital Vessel Designed for Mid Level Gameplay. It's built to be the Capital Vessel that transports your Starter Planet vessels to new deeper regents of space.

Can hold up to the size of the -Skeletool- in its cargo bay, it is easily big enough to transport the Ka- Bar as well as the -Drill PUP- MUT. It can additionally hold the -Kukri- and -Switch Blade- on the top of the Vessel.

FULL WARP CAPABILITY

Built to be upgraded to Combat Steel, with enough thrust to manuever very well in any planetary conditons after upgrades)

Full Garden Area with 24 grow plots worth of space pre marked

This vehicle is ugly, in a mean-looking kinda way. I spawned it in in Creative after seeing it on Haystack's "UIMC" video 'cause I was curious. For the mats and the level, this is actually an incrediably well designed ship! Typical XCaliber with the excellent access to everything and cargo boxes from multiple levels. The vehicle bay is a "working man's" bay AND it has what we all need, but folks rarely put in -- a secondary pilot cockpit right near the bay for those "holy sh*t!!" escape and evade moments. And the wrap-around view in the main pilot chair rocks. Well done, man!

Dude... I love this ship! This is way beyond a midgame CV, I could endgame in this if I had to and be comfortable doing it.

Still playing with it and tweaking it to get it just right for me but it comes in as the most perfect mid-game CV I can imagine. Thank you for the lower cockpit btw, so nice to see it come in with one instead of having to throw a makeshift one in.

So many other features I just love, not the least of which, it's like flying my skeletool around without the trees, rocks and mountains lol.

Going to give it a try. I'm usually out for a few weeks scouting the system while I mine so the farm is a plus! I'll let you know how it goes.

I thought about upgrading blocks on the rebar and even adding a layer on the bottom where I usually have the most damage but I hate to put that much resources into a ship I use for midgame only. Also, I always stick more harvest boxes on it and the only (safe) place there is room for them is either the bay or on top the cockpit area, this one has more space in it.

Looking forward to trying it! in the factory now :)

Hey Ranger! This would be the one I wound recommend. It is a bit tougher. It also has allot more function as it can hold your Drill Pup MUT and has a full Garden with 36 grow plots. The drill spacing shouild work just as well and has allot more defense.

On a side note, the REBAR starts out at just Steel blocks but can be upgraded to Combat Steel for much better survivability. To upgrade use your multi tool and choose the Upgrade option. When you shoot the block it will tell you what you need to upgrade it :)

Hiyas Xcal! I am looking for a midgame drill and transport ship to replace the Drill Pup Rebar I typically use for the same purpose. I really love the Rebar because it's such a great driller but I've lost it so many times because it's so soft. One space cannon hit in it and you end up stranded on the nearest planet. That usually turns into a fun side track adventure but I want to avoid it this playthough if I can.

I'm thinking this one looks a lot tougher, is it? Also, does it have the same drill spacing as you used on the Rebar? The Rebar spacing is just perfect for asteroids which is what makes it such a wonderful miner!
