Slower Military Technology

Description
This mod applies the soldier recruitment restriction to all subsequent technologies in the military technology trees. For example in the melee tech tree you need to recruit 10 melee units to unlock the first tier (as normal), you need to recruit 20 melee units to unlock the second tier, 30 for the third tier and so on.

Issues: The amount of soldiers required to unlock the next tier does not appear on the UI.

Mauiaw's campaign mods:

This is a collection of the mods I use to make the campaign game harder. Mostly they just change small aspects of the game mechanics to make them more punishing for the player

will this work with a crown divided?

I've been trying to figure out what could be going wrong without much luck. The new scripts CA has added to the game seem to sometimes take priority over mods and sometimes not to.

also, when i first started my campaign it said the normal 10 units requirements but when i did recruit them it didnt unlock a tech, and in my other campaigns they just all started unlocked

Yeah, not working for me either, is it working for you author?
Bombenlejher 11 May, 2018 @ 6:34am
Nope it is still not working, as soon as i fnish the first battle suddenly all techs are unlocked. :/

Okay this is really strange, the first time it didnt work and even after deactivating the mod I could research everything without unlocking it.
Now I gave it a try again to see if it would be listed in the text file and it works, its also listed correctly in the textfile.
Maybe this was just a bug in the scripts, maybe not even caused by your mod.

If you can't find the file you could create it yourself and add the line:

mod "locked_tech_mod.pack";

then the mod should work. I will see if I can find a way around this though.

Actually in order to try and make my scripted mods compatible I have them read a file called "used_mods.txt" that should be in the Thrones of Britannia folder. If your game does not write to this file, that could be why the mod is not working. I'm not sure under what conditions that file is written.

Does anyone else have the same problem? Your right, it doesn't sound like a mod conflict. I will fix this once I'm back home
