Item ban list

In 1 collection by ☢ Nato Potato ☢
NatoPotato's Binding of Isaac Mods
110 items
Description
Are there items you just hate getting? (like bob's brain or head of krampus)
This mod lets you have a customised list of items that are not allowed to spawn or be held by the player, replacing them with a random item or a specific item of your choice.

The mod also forces active item pedestals to be rerolled if you have the NO! trinket, even if they were already spawned before you picked it up. (this can be disabled in the config menu)

This should work for modded items though if you add or remove a mod with items in it the numbers might need to be updated.

You can use the Mod Config Menu to update the list of items.

You can also update the list by editing the mods save file and using console commands.

The save file is formatted like this, :X>Y. where X is the banned item and Y is what it turns into.
0 = random so for example the code below is 'turn breakfast into a random item and turn head of krampus into lump of coal'.
:25>0.
:293>132.

You can also set a list of items to use for the replacement, e.g.
:130>73-207-10-151.
The first item will be replaced by one of the other items at random.

Of course you don't have to edit the save file to update the list, you can use console commands by pressing ~.

There is "showitemids" to see the id number of items in the room.
"hideitemids" to stop showing item id numbers.
"addtoitemlist 11>99" to set an item to replace, where the first number is the id of the item you don't want and the second is an item you do, set the second number to 0 for it to be random.
(and again you can specify multiple items it can use for the replacement by using dashes e.g. "addtoitemlist 11>22-33-44")
"removefromitemlist 11" to remove an item from the list.
"showitemlist" to show your current item ban list.
and "clearitemlist" to wipe the item list and start over.

:MOD SUPPORT:
You can create item ban lists specific to your modded characters or challenges (or vanilla characters/challenges), just make a list of items and copy paste some code into your mod and the items will be banned while the player is using your character or playing your challenge, see the main.lua for more info.

This is included in POTATO PACK 2.

For some reason, the blacklist doesn't seem to save between launches of the game.

if steam hasn't downloaded the update you can force it by deleting the mod (or by running the game with it unsubscribed and then resubscribing)

Quick question tho: How exactly can we disable the additional No! effect? I can't find the setting anywhere inside mod config menu.

I was wondering: Could we please get the option to disable the changes to the No! trinket via mod config menu? I love not having to worry about TmTrainer starts on my eden streaks anymore but the trinket change can be a bit too powerful in my opinion.

Hi, so I add and remove mods often in my Isaac game and as you mentioned previously changing mods can reassign item ids which makes you reassign values in order to ban the modded item. I don't know much about Isaac modding but would it be possible ban items by names rather than I'd Numbers by searching for their IDs using names. So instead of putting a number in the mod save file, maybe something along the lines of "Isaac.GetItemIdByName("Item Name")" to find the item id using a name? If so this could remove the need of reassigning item ban IDs every time you change a mod.

I can't seem to add modded items to the list even through the config menu. The ID selection only goes as far as 586, which happens to be the Stairway. Bumping it up by one in the menu only makes it roll back to 0. Adding items with an ID greater than 586 manually through the console doesn't work either.

Is there a way to disable the changes to the "NO!' trinket? I want the ban list, but I'd rather not have "NO!" reroll existing items.

似乎有一个错误,控制台是这样提示的
"postrender failed" ... main.lua.181 attempt to index a nil value
