Omschrijving
{SERAPHIM SANCTUM}

My childhood best friends had an awesome time Alpha and Beta testing this puppy. It was a joyous occasion. One of them is getting married and this was the cornerstone of his bachelor party. I know we are a crazy bunch😊

Seraphim Sanctum is a true Epic Adventure. Game play is roughly 25-27 hours play through, depending on encounters and how long your party members like to shop at vendors. Players start out IN RAGS. Players cannot pick Origin characters or play undead characters, Trust me on this one. They start from Lvl 1 and play through to Lvl 12. I am very confident that if you are new to the role of Game Master, with the detailed instructions I have placed throughout the campaign, that anyone with a basic knowledge of Divinity 2 GM mode can successfully host Seraphim Sanctum. Hopefully this increases our GM player base, because one the most frequently asked questions is "can I play this solo or do I need a GM?" You do need GM and “IT COULD BE YOU!” (insert cheezy radio voice.) But really, If you think controlling a mage is fun, try a frikn dragon on for size, it’s hard to go back after that.

I have added a few new mechanics to Seraphim Sanctum that the Lie of Succession didn’t have.

Persuasion: It took a good deal of work on the vignette side of things, but in this adventure you can roll persuasion on certain characters you encounter throughout the campaign that will proc different outcomes in the story line if you successfully persuade the character or not.

Quest Journal: I realized hosting these campaigns that my stories are quite long and have a lot to accomplish. I’m not reinventing the wheel here, but I thought I would be nice for the party members to have a reference of what they have learned plot wise and have a list of objectives that they still need to accomplish. Shout out to **a’Lan Mandragoran**, one of my friends who suggested I implement a Quest Log. Thanks Brother, cheers.

Corpse Eater: Yeah Baby😊 Corpse Eater is such a cool mechanic that Larian implemented in Divinity 2 and I wanted it in my campaigns. There is a vignette called Corpse Eater that describes in detail how this works. Below there is also a link to my youtube channel that walks you through the steps. https://youtu.be/EAj4eqYsgZY

Puzzles: There were a few puzzles in The Lie of Succession, but in Seraphim Sanctum I stepped it up a notch. I'm going to drop a teaser spoiler because I'm sure it will leak soon enough, but after a $h!t load of hard work and planning, Seraphim Sanctum has a puzzle Labyrinth😊

Balanced Encounters: I learned a lot from The Lie of Succession, and I listened to the community on what they wanted for the next campaign. Using math I haven’t used since I was in school and big time testing, I am very proud to announce that the encounters between the GM and the players are balanced. That’s right😊 I pulled every trick my mobs had out of the bag to try and destroy my friends. It usually worked out that I was able to kill at least one of them every encounter, but it wasn’t easy for either side to win. It was super fun. I am very excited for you to experience that challenge. I have to thank **themhael80** another of my friends who spent hours testing armour and damage ratio’s in order to come up with the algorithm that was the basis for the encounters. That being said, my friends are nearing 1000 hours of in game time in Divinity 2: Original Sin, which means they are ballers when it comes to encounters. If the community wants, I can make an explorer mode that will soften the blows.

SPELLING & GRAMMAR: A huge shout out to **The Kool-Aid Man**. Out of the kindness of his own heart, he went through all the Vignette’s and edited everything. Thanks man, I know the players will appreciate it, cause I admittedly suck at this.

I have also written a morality/choose your own adventure mechanic into the main plot of Seraphim Sanctum. No spoilers for the players, it will be completely explained in the GM vignettes. If you really want to know, it’s all there, but if you are a player I wouldn’t spoil the fun for yourself. Game Masters this mechanic is a blast😊

I apologize for the lengthy intro, but hey, this one took close to 400 hrs on and off screen to make, so I was hoping you guys would grant me a little leeway;) Again for anyone who decides to play through Seraphim Sanctum my thanks to you. This, as always, was a labour of love and dedication and I hope it shows.

Signing off as usual, Cheers,

@Alien: Awesome, thanks for asking. I do have a definitive campaign called The Last Conquest. There was a problem publishing to the workshop. I currently have some programmers at Larian working on the issue.

Hey, ya sorry to say this is only a classic campaign. And yes you should all download the mods. Hope you enjoy it. I have a definitive campaign written but I am having issues publishing it called The Last Conquest. Hopefully Larian can help me with the issue. Have fun:)

Hey Braxxis, can this be played on definitive edition? Also do my players need to install the add-ons to play it?
