Yep. I'm aware it's a model rather than an SWEP. Thank you in that case. Will link to this and credit it once I've officially updated it. It took a bit of fiddling but was able to get the model working with an existing abandoned SWEP.

Only issue I noticed is that the VMT files for the textures refer to a non-existent lightwarptexture, which was causing the weapons to be error-purple-tinted when spawned in. Simply removing that fixed it, leaving just the underlying base texture. Presumably it's now less glossy than it's intended to be, but even then it looks way better and higher-quality than the older model and texture previously used.

Just took me a while to correctly set angles, positions, offsets etc for the weapon model in first person since it was set up for a completely different model, but that wasn't too hard and I needed to fix some other offsets regardless.

Unless Quinnjjdq is on Steam and has anything to say about that, go ahead. Like I've told everyone else though, this isn't a SWEP. This was uploaded with the old Gmod uploader and it won't let me change the tags.

Hmm. I've been tinkering with some SWEP stuff lately and been tempted to absorb an old abandoned bolt pistol SWEP into one of my other "maintaining abandoned content" 40k-themed SWEPs, but I noticed the texture used by it is extremely low-rest. This looks a lot better, would it be alright for me to make use of this model for revamping said SWEP?

why is this in weapons if its not a weapon.

Maybe I shouldn't have put this under the weapons category, because people are getting confused thinking it's an actual SWEP in the game, but it's a prop for Gmod. T_T

It also said I installed it, but it's not in my weapons.

I subscribed to download it, but I didn't see it in the weapons category, any help?
