Description
This mod adds a playable Kurdistan civ, lead by Mustafa Barzani!

Originally a mod by RawSasquatch/Kramer that I have adapted and finished.

UA: No Friends but the Mountains: Units starting on Hills gains +25% Defense and Indirect Fire. Your borders claim adjacent Mountains when expanding, and provide random yields when doing so.

UB: Qela: Replaces Walls. +1 Food for every 2 worked Hills and carries over 25% of Food when a Citizen is born. +1 Production for every Mountain in this city's borders, along with +1 Tourism after Archaeology.

UU: Peshmerga: Replaces Infantry. Double movement in Hills and may cross Mountains. When attacking into rough terrain, it deals additional damage to all adjacent enemies also in rough terrain.

VERY powerful ability. It results in faster population growth. And Population is King, as we all know, as they give you more science and resources faster with which to advance quicker and stomp more easily. Combined with all of the other bonuses, I can easily see Kurdistan DOMINATING on a Highlands map, and doing well on any map in general.

This civ is unbelievably overpowered but I hope it never changes because they're great to have as a distant AI opponent. I'm currently playing a 33-civ Vox Populi TSL Earth map that I made by placing all the civs in their correct spots on the map using IGE on turn 1 (tough but worth it to me). I'm playing Australia and trying to get a domination victory. I'm getting near the industrial era, but Kurdistan is about 10 techs ahead of me and has 52 pop in its capital. They would've won a cultural victory already, but I buffed Polynesia and Uighur's Cuba at the beginning of the game and the Kurd's can't -quite- beat their culture (except now the Kurds are getting 237 tourism per turn. I don't know how that happened, but it happened.)

I'm sorry to say, but this UA is Broken as fuck. let me explain why: Turn 1, settle my city next to 2 mountains, yields 15 faith and 50 gold, ok thats balanced. Turn 250 (marathon) settle my 2nd city next to a few mountains, suddenly i have 8000 gold? i thought ok maybe just merchant or something. Turn 400 settling another city near a mountain, boom 44000 faith and 50000 gold, WTF. and it's just the Renaissance Era, what if i Settled a city near a mountain in the Modern Era????

How can a naition get a piece of land by just being there. It doesn't even make any sense. Also if you want a piece of land to be all yours you have to fight for it.
