Civ VI Beer

Description
Beer brewing, according to several authorities, was integral to the development of civilization so we wanted to add it into Civ VI.

What this mod will do:

Adds a Brewery to the Town Center - available after researching Irrigation. This building gives the city it is built in one extra amenity from entertainment. This building also gives the ability to build one of the three beer-related district buildings. It is not needed for the Monastery.

Adds a Tavern to the Theater District - available after researching Urbanization. This building gives the Theater District it is built in three extra culture/turn. Cannot be built if the city already has a Sports Bar or Corporate Brewery. Requires a Brewery in that city.

Adds a Sports Bar to the Entertainment District - available after researching Professional Sports. This building gives the Entertainment District it is built in one extra amenity. Cannot be built if the city already has a Tavern or Corporate Brewery. Requires a Brewery in that city.

Adds a Corporate Brewery to the Industrial Zone - available after researching Industrialization. This building gives the Industrial Zone it is built in three extra gold/turn. Cannot be built if the city already has a Tavern or Sports Bar. Requires a Brewery in that city.

Adds a Monastery building that can be selected when first designing your religion. The Monastery adds one faith, one food, and one house to the Holy District. This building also adds the ability to engage in monastic brewing if the city has a brewery (one additional faith to the Holy District in that city) but it does not require a brewery.

Additional Notes:

This mod has been tested in a game with Wondrous Wonders and has compatibility with the Apostolic Palace. The Palace can be built if the city has a Monastery instead of one of the base game religious belief buildings.

The mod has its own icons for each of the buildings but it has no building meshes (3D buildings that show up in the game) as yet. We may add those in the future.

The mod has been tested in single and multiplayer games and has worked fine. If you run into issues, please post them in the thread. We were aiming for something that works with the incremental benefits system the game has. This mod is meant to enhance gameplay rather than to be a major game-changer. We both play with a lot of mods in so your experience may be different than ours. For us, it provides some nice little perks without being disruptive of the overall gameplay style. In the games we've tested, almost every AI has built the brewery and they've done so in many of their cities. The AIs will select the Monastery when choosing religious beliefs. We have seen Ghandi build Taverns also.

Can anyone fix issue where Viking Stave Church does not count as a Temple which does not allow you to build the Beer mod's Monastery please !?

@Jerps 3 years late but if you open up "NewBuilding_Gameplay.xml" just change "PrereqCivic="CIVIC_URBANIZATION" to PrereqCivic="CIVIC_MEDIEVAL_FAIRES"

This should've been in the original game already. Humans even started agriculture to make beer in the first place. I can recommend adding the Barley bonus resource as well. It can provide +1 Culture after improving maybe?.

Nice mod. I use it in every multiplayer games. There is one bug. If using game options/interface "show yields in HUD ribbon" you can not see military strength in that hud display.

Great mod, enjoy playing with it. Any chance you can change the Tavern unlock from Urbanization to Medieval Fairies? Or teach me how to do it for myself? It just doesn't make too much sense to get a Tavern that late in the game while they were more historically popularized during the medieval era.

I love this mod and consider it essential in all my games, but is there any chance you could update the icons for the Tavern, Sports Bar, and Corporate Brewery to be prettier and more Civ6-like? The icon for the base Brewery is perfect. Other than that, I can't complain! Thanks for the great mod!
