Welcome to the Edge of Reality.
A clash between a bright expanse set in a far-off world, and a digital realm with eye popping colors.

This map will truly send you to the edge of reality
(Or at least whatever the hell you call the deep dark corners of my imagination)


What is this map?

Originally it started out as a kind of test level for me to try out new shaders and lighting techniques, but as I kept adding on to it, I noticed that it had a decent ongoing theme and was actually pretty fun to play. (Go figure)
It doesn’t have a very complex layout so gameplay is pretty straight forward. (it’s more or less a giant figure eight)
The map has low gravity in the main area (with all the white geo) allowing you to easily jump extra high.
When “zed-time” in enabled the player can jump extremely high, however be warned you will take ~10Hp in fall damage when you land.

How do I play online with this map?

Still one of the best maps for Endless Mode in my view. And its so satisfying getting the place all bloody over the course of 50 waves. When me and my gang play Endless, it is always either this or KF_Cube.

Posted in bug thread, but I am still getting the reverse gravity issue. I already deleted the map from the cache as wel.

I’ve pushed an update to hopefully resolve the crashing issue, it seems there was an issue whit the values I had passed to the SSAO solution in the post process.

I am also crashing when loading the map. If its on a server I crash before even seeing the main screen where you ready up. If I play solo offline I can get to the point where I can ready up. The moment the timer end and it goes to spawn me I crash. I have tried what you suggest below and also just deleting my cache and config folder same result.

I’ve tested the map on Survival, Weekly Survival, and Endless and have found no problems.
I can only suggest deleting the map manually from your workshop “cache” which will force a re-download.

**The map can be found in the following directory;
\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache
- Delete the following folder; 1150705478

Hopefully that solves your issue.

The map crashes the game when you try to load it.

Not sure if it's just me, but the map seems to be crashing KF2 outright whenever I attempt to load into it. Any idea why that may be?

damn, guess its just me. i'll try re-downloading the map over the weekend, because i really have no idea why i don't have low gravity no matter where i go :pon:

The map has always had that (in the "white" area), you can easily jump over most zeds and during zed-time you can jump and send yourself flying really high.
