Tempest - Stargate

Good Morning fellow Engineers,

Today I present to you the new Tempest-Class Corvette, which is based on a design by Mallacore. It is designed as a small and fast front-line ship, taking roles like patrolling and Exploration. This creation is completely mod-free but has enough space left for you to add your personal touch.

The Tempest is outfitted with a short range Jump Drive, two rocket tubes, four gatlings and an Emergency Self Destruct. It also has two hangar bays designed for small, autonomous drones. Propulsion is accomplished mostly through hydrogen thrusters, which enable the ship to take off and land on planets. For space it has a secondary ion propulsion system, which is less powerful than the hydrogen systems. The vessel is It also has many of the standard systems like antennae, a distress beacon, connectors, an assembler, a blast furnace and a medbay. The ship does not come with a refinery onboard, as its main purpose is combat and the interior isn't as spacious. As always everything is all piped up and ready for surival.

Advancements through asgard technology have upgraded the ships computer systems, so that now they are easier monitered and the airlocks are much simpler, yet more reliable. Special Thanks to MMaster and Syntak for their awesome scripts:
