As of version 2.0, this has been a real game changer! I used it in starfield, horizon FW and on RPCSX 3 and they all work almost flawlessly. In HORIZON, it's working better than the ingame DLSS 3, as it causes some camera judder when fps is above 70-80. But with lossless scalling version 2.0, it's running without issues. I just cap my game at 60fps, 4k, max settings, and then turn it on and voila, it feels like playing at 120fps. Only downside is some minor ghosting around the character which i can barely notice while in normal gamplay and also some noticeable imput lag, but nothing that threw me off. I will say that I tested it on the witcher 3 and the imput lag was too much for that game. However, for the most part, it's amazing!

Another issue I encountered was on Assassins Creed Odyssey. Unfortunately that game doesnt support HDR in bordless mode (which is necessary for the software to work). I also tried to use NVIDIA RTX HDR, but once I turned on lossless scaling, it turned the HDR off, which makes it unplayable for me in that state.

However, what an immense progress we have seen! Now I'm going to test it on Elder Ring and see how that plays.

A technical behemoth, forbidden west is ambitious at every thing it tries to do and is flawless in virtually every aspect. Do you want a good story, with rich lore, interesting characters and beautiful fantastical places to visit? You got it. Do you want to skip the lore and just have fun with the main story? You got it. Do you want to exhaust not only the main story but side quests and world activities? Forbidden West got you covered with quality side content that feels just as good as the main stuff... Do you want variety of weapons, mechanics and enemies? Horizon has it all. I have never played any other game that is so technically perfect in every aspect I can think of... Not only that, but the game is fun as hell. I played it on the ps5 and have been dreaming ever since to play it on pc on native 4k and 120 fps. My dreams has come true. What a masterpiece.

The game also runs very well. Nixxes did a great job again.

Tips: use a dualsense controller if you play with a controller, but also use with a cable to have its full functionality.

In the settings, select auto pick up and thank me later.

Avoid using fast travel, as the world is filled with interesting activities and they are usually very rewarding.
Don't start a quest that's above your level. I recommend at least 2 points above the recommended level... Doing so will be easy, though, as there are plenty of activities for you to chose from. Try out a few, pick your favorites and go for it.

Have a different arsenal of weapons. I know it might be tempting to just use bow and arrow because some of weapons take a while getting used to, but trust me, mastering those weapons will be the difference between fighting a boss for 3 hours or 10 minutes, I'm not even kidding. You can absolutely obliterate even the hardest bosses if you're tactical. The game not only encourages you to to try out diifferent approaches, but it equips you with all the tools to do so. Use your focus a lot to scan enemies. Listen to Alloy, she will hint you a lot of good tactics. I know some of you might hate the banter, but this game was designed this way and it works. You're gonna have a blast.

Finally, have fun. The game lets you play the way you want and there SO MANY OPTIONS. So regardless of what I suggested, chose the one that's most fun to you.

8/10 (it would be a 9/10 if not for the performance issues I'll explain below)

Jedi Survivor is an amazing story-driven action adventure. If you liked the new god of war games, or horizon games, uncharted games and even the new tomb raider games, Jedi Survivor is right up your alley.

It has some of the best graphics I've seen in a video game. Ray tracing is beautiful here and adds a lot to the final image quality. The parkour is JOY! Cal's ability pick up from those of the previous game and are vastly improved. Combat is fun and exciting. The enemies are hard, as usual and boss battles can get a little difficult if you're not used to this type of game.

The story is also pretty good, although a little inconsistent at times. The villain is not what I expected and although I enjoyed the final moments with him, it felt a little out of place. I don't think his motivations were well fleshed out, but the story isn't really where this game shines the most.

It's the incredibly fun mix of crazy combat with crazy parkour moves that make this game INCREDIBLY fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 30 hours of gameplay and I barely did any side quests. I don't think I will go back to those anyway.

Now the performance is still broken as I type this review. Especially in the real open world maps, the game will stutter constantly, even when my GPU was 70-80% usage and the stutters were crazy. The more enclose areas were usually fine and stutter free, but overall, this game still needs a lot of polish performance wise.

Hhad the performance been better and the story a little more consistent, I'd say this is a masterpiece, but as is, it's just a great action-adventure game.

The game looks ok. THe combat is very good and easy to learn but the game seems to be some sort of bonus level from God of War meets Red Dead Redemption. It doens't actually feel like a full game because jumping from one enclosed space to the next untiil you kill every single enemy doens't sound like the main campaign of a game. Maybe the game gets better eventually? However, I won't be the one to figure it out.

9.5/10 - (This review is based off of my experience with a heavily modded version of the game. I'll leave a list of mods I used at the end)

Summary: Starfield is an amazing action rpg in space that addresses very organically the main questions of life, while keeping players entertained with its masterful crafted "random" quests, that really makes you feel like that world really exists. Although flawed in many ways, starfield manages to be a beautiful love letter about the very existence of humanity, while contemplating, without any judgment, our species' horrific flaws and greatest achievements.

Graphics: Aside from some horrible trees in New Atlantis and water effects, graphics are pristine. Some interiors are so well detailed that you could mistake them for real life footage. It was so pleasurable entering various rooms and just paying attention to every little detail. The overall look of the game is also very unique in that has a very cinematic color grading. That being said, I didn't like it how some places felt very washed out and the green hue was too saturated. Props to the modding community for changing that.
I ended up using a lut profile that, while tries to keep the original intent for how the game looks, it got rid of the washed blacks. After that adjustment, the game looked so beautiful I couldn't help but just wander around taking pictures.

Story: the main story is pretty short, but I decided to venture out in the galaxy first. When I came back, after 100+ hours, I was happily surprised by how things turned out. Seeing my choices reflected on the last scene were so comforting. It really felt like I had lived a few lifetimes while playing the game. On the other side, I felt like the consequences of the discoveries from the game's ending weren't flashed out properly. I wish they had give us more time to fully explore the implications of what happens after game ends. However, most of the lore I had access too was very blend and didn't seem to explain much.

Even then, it was a great, touching story that I will think about for a long time.

Side-Quests: this is the best thing that this game has. I could talk for hours about how exciting side-quests arcs are and how they're often better than the main story. But let me just say that you shouldn't ignore those little activities that often pop-up after overhearing a conversation because from those I experience some of the most rewarding quests in the game, which, to be honest, felt like an entire game of its own, given the great amount of hours and depth put into them. It is also incredible how they are all feel very different from each other. Sometimes you will be acting as diplomat, other times you will uncover a huge conspiracy that involves a great war from the past and... well, I shouldn't spoil it any longer, but let's just say that one time I was orbit and received a mysterious distress call from a distant planet. I didn't respond to it right away, but many hours later I decided to check my activities, just to find out that that distress call was from a colony full of earth clones and.. well, I shouldn't say anything else. But while I was there, I realized that the planet had the rare resource I had been looking for, so I spent another few hours creating an outpost there, and then got distracted with a few upgrades on my ship, and only much later I completely said task -- which was AWESOME btw. All this goes to show how grand and deep the side activites are in Starfield. The world build really feels alive.

Game play: Super fun. I love the shooting encounters and, especially those in zero G. Ship building and outposts are two games of their own. I'm not kidding when I say that i spent HOURS building outposts and modifying ships. it's all so rewarding. Make sure to not skip those, as they're mostly optional.

Performance: I use a DLSS + Frame Gen. mod, which gave a mostly consistent 120fps at 85% of 4k render resolution (for reference, dlss quality is 67% of desired resolution), so I had no issues there. Now, the game did crash a few times, but then again, after playing it for almost 150 hours, I don't think it crashed that much in view of how much I played it. Loading screens and certain animations are a pain. Unfortunately I couldn't find a mod to remove the loading screens, but I did find some that bypasses certain ship animations, making certain transitions slightly faster. The loading screen however are very quick, and rarely took more than 1-3 seconds.

Mods Used in order of usefulness:
1) FSR streamline + Frame Generations is a must if you want to use DLSS instead of fsr and use frame generation if you have a 4000s graphics card.
2) Normalized LUTs. To remove that green filter that left the gameplay looking extremely washed, while keeping the overall look very similar to the vanilla experience.
3) StarUI HUD is another must have if you want to improve the game's UI.
4) Starfield HD Reworked Project. Slightly improves texture.

I have a few others installed, but these are the most important.

9/10

This 2018 game has one of the best graphics I've seen, even against new generation games. It is also the only Tomb Raider game to include ray tracing and dlss. I recommend playing it with dlss quality on + ray tracing if you graphics card can handle it.

The game is absolutely beautiful. The presentation is top notch and you can tell that, in the current state, the game is perfectly optimized. Shooting, parkour and stealth are super fun. The story is decent, but it suffers from some serious cliches that hunt action/adventure games like these. If it wasn't for this, I'd give it a 10/10.

All in all, it's a must play for those who love parkour games such as prince of persia, uncharted and the like. It might also be a good choice for those who like action/adventure in general, even in 2023's standards.

10/10 - a masterpiece

I was never a fan of soulsborn games but the open world of Elden Ring had me hooked. Its Far from the “let me grab you by your hand” formula I usually prefer, but I was able to find my way by following guides online. It didn’t ruin the “find it yourself” aspect of game, because guides only cover so much. You still gotta hustle to get to those places with the items you need. And even after utilizing a bunch of hacks I saw online, I hustled.

I didn’t particularly like the overly challenging aspect of the game, but allowing me to come up with different strategies, which sometimes means going all over the map just to get one item, put in hours straight of constant quests.

The game lacks a system that tells you what to do, which is good because it leaves the door open for exploration, however, without guidance, most players will simply miss on the best things this game has. Hadn’t I researched online I’d have missed on the coolest items and bosses.

Anyway, we all know Elden Ring is a masterpiece and that’s it.

10/10 - a Classic masterpiece

I loved every second of it. It’s one of those games that kept me in awe. It’s very contained story-wise, with not a lot of dialogs and human interactions, but none of that was a bother since I was constantly enchanted with beautiful landscapes and challenging parkour.

9.5/10

(I also played this game on the ps4/5 and on the Ubisoft store. So I have way more than 100 hours played!)

What an absolute BLAST! Such a vibrant and fun game. I love it how it looks and feels so much similar to the Witcher 3, but with a much better, snappier combat.

The open world is HUGE and had me in awe so many times. The story is great and got me hooked from start to finish.

One thing I didn’t like was the Atlantis DLC. I feel like it dragged more than it should. The ending was also very confusing and felt rushed. Still, totally recommend this game for people who love rpgs in huge open world games.

A total blast from the past!

Love the gore, the violence and the cool combat.

The ending felt very rushed and the way they changed the ending was a little weird but whatever. Still loved the game.
