I freaking loved this game, played through the re2 remake before but I loved this one, didn't play through any of the dlc but I was extremely disappointed to see they added new drm to some of the titles (removed for now)

Amazing game, one of the best horror games I've ever played (even if I've played like 5 including several minecraft horror maps) but capcom has ruined their alright reputation by one extremely stupid move

I'm going to avoid purchasing any new capcom titles until they say it was stupid. Then they'll have one final shot to make things right.

You can probably tell but capcom added new drm to most of their older titles including this one, it's probably to combat mods since the games are too old to bother with protecting, they're definitely out there.

Here's what removing mod support means to your game:
Accessibility not included in the base game is no longer able to be used
Additional content adding replayability to the games is gone


Here's what DRM can do to your game
DRM often requires internet connectivity to activate so people without internet connections (e.g. people with access to proper wifi installations or steam deck users on the go) will no longer be able to play this title
If capcom were ever to shut down and you wanted to install the game on a new machine, it wouldn't work unless you bypassed the game.

Oh yeah btw this is a singleplayer only game

I'm not saying you shouldn't get this game, it's very good, but buy it on sale, make sure capcom doesn't get your money, make sure this decision isn't profitable to them.

Screw DRM and capcom, if I pirated games (I don't personally) I would pirate every single one of their titles

Personal gripe unrelated to this situation, they removed o.g. re2 and re3 from steam meaning there's no way to play them without spending a large amount of money on an old console and copy of the game or by emulation which many people may not want to do. Which also hurts preservation

Ok, so I've played quite a bit of this game, and you know what? I'm bad at it but lethal company has done something that no other multiplayer game has done for me, help my social anxiety. Because of it's online lobbies and voice chat, after chatting to people on there, I actually feel generally less socially anxious, and this game has been a fun experience as-is. For $10 you're getting a great experience with some funny laughs and spooky moments. Highly recommended if you're okay using voice chat.

I know I haven't really played much but that's because I mostly use gzdoom, you should too. If you want to play myhouse, this is the version of doom you want

I quite liked this game, it sure as hell isn't for everybody but if you enjoyed the first game and want some more content similar to the first game, you'll probably enjoy this game, the puzzles are actually somewhat challenging compared to the first game, it's significantly longer with cooler trials. I will say it's a bit "edgier" than the first game as a fair warning though. I'd really consider whether you'll like this game or not before buying it since it takes a while before you know if you like it or not. Still if you enjoy detective puzzle games but don't think this game is for you, maybe try out phoenix wright: ace attorney instead.

Ok so the best way I can possibly describe the entire danganronpa franchise is Phoenix Wright's younger edgy Brother, it's extremely violent in a reasonably mature way and covers some pretty mature topics in a mostly mature way, the game is far easier than phoenix wright but I think what really gives it credit is the slick way you shoot incorrect statements in extreme phoenix wright mode. It's a really fun game but it certainly isn't for everyone so like... violence and bad language warning if you're made uncomfortable by those things but it's a reasonably long game with some great colourful stereotypical anime characters, even if you're not into visual novels, it's worth giving this one a look.

Great soundtrack but the tracks are not in order meaning you either have to carefully switch tracks if you want to listen to them in order open the music directory and add them to a separate media player.

I haven't played that many 3D platformers but this is probably my favourite one ever, great visuals, fun story, great soundtrack and of course, good gameplay
