Early Access Review
Remember the first game, where you'd wander through the Far, Far Range, collecting slimes and thinking "Wow, this is so beautiful"? Well, in the sequel everything is even more stunning. It's like the devs said, "What if we made this game so pretty it makes you want to cry?" I'm here to tell you, Monomi Park, mission accomplished. Slime rancher 2 takes everything I loved about the first game - bouncy slimes, serene exploration, and that sweet plot economy - and cranks it up to a 11.

The new slimes are adorable little goobers (looking at you, Ringtail and Batty Slime) and the new world is full of secrets that make me feel like a kid on a treasure hunt. They even kept the chaotic charm of slimes that absolutely refuse to stay in their pens. I'm convinced the Boom Slimes do this on purpose. Why, Boom? Why?

If you loved the first game, you'll feel right at home here. It's still the slime-filled adventure you remember, but now with even more charm, more chaos, and somehow more love. And on top of all that, it's still in Early Access! I can't wait to see what else they bring to this wonderful little slimy world ♡

Slime Rancher is an absolute joy to play! From the moment you step onto your little farm in the colorful world of slimes, it’s like being hugged by a big, squishy marshmallow. The slimes are adorable, each one with its own quirky personality—my favorite is the hunter slime, they're just so silly and get mad when they're not fed (sound familiar?). You spend your time collecting these slime buddies, feeding them, and unlocking new areas that look like they belong in a dream. It’s peaceful, except when a Tarr slime shows up and chaos ensues (I swear they have a vendetta against me).

It is so easy to lose yourself in the rhythm of it all. There’s no pressure, just collecting plorts and watching your slimes bounce around like they’re in their own little world. It’s a perfect balance of relaxing and satisfying. Plus, the soundtrack is so calming that it’s practically a lullaby. So yeah, if you need a break from reality and a good laugh at how ridiculous slime chaos can get, give this game a try. You’ll find yourself laughing, smiling, and possibly getting a little too attached to the slime family you build!

It's like a family camping trip gone horrifyingly, but occasionally hilariously, wrong - in the best way possible. You crash on a mysterious island, armed with nothing but a hatchet and quickly realise the locals are... less than friendly. The graphics are absolutely stunning (and terrifying at times), the survival mechanics are solid, and the game throws surprises at you when you least expect them (looking at you, creepy mutants).

What really makes it shine, though, is playing with friends. My boyfriend built our house while I accidentally set myself on fire cooking fish. Launching yourself in the air on a turtle-shell-made trampoline is quite fun as well (just make sure to have your glider equipped). It's a chaotic, stressful, and to be honest weirdly heartwarming game.

If you like survival games with a side of humor and a dash of horror, give this one a go. Just watch out when knocking down trees close to your house...

Compared to RE2R, this remake left me feeling a bit torn. On one hand, it’s great to see a classic get a modern makeover, and the graphics are absolutely stunning. The environments are beautifully detailed, and navigating through the chaotic streets of Raccoon City can be nerve wrecking, especially with Nemesis right on your heels.

However, it definitely feels like it’s missing something, especially for fans of the original. A lot of key moments and areas that made the first game so memorable are either shortened or cut entirely, which makes the whole game feel rushed.

It’s clear that the developers wanted to create something special, but in the end, it feels like they sacrificed depth for a quicker experience. I wanted to be immersed in that terrifying world again, but instead, I felt like I was just skimming the surface. It’s fun, but it’s a missed chance to truly honor the original.

Overall, it’s definitely a fun experience for newcomers, but for fans of the original, it might not quite live up to expectations

Horizon Zero Dawn is simply breathtaking. Not only is the world beautiful, but so is Aloy's story. She's an incredible protagonist; she's strong, determined, resilient and deeply cares for others, making her story and the game even more captivating. The amount of times my jaw has dropped while playing, of either pure shock or amazement, is just insane.

There are some frustrating fights, but nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment when you finally defeat that one machine. The combat is relatively easy once you understand and get used to all of the individual weapons and armor sets. The healing in this game might just be my favourite thing, it's so different from what I'm used to and that makes it feel very refreshing!

Don't miss out on this masterpiece if you're a fan of action and exploration, and of course if you enjoy breathtaking views ♡

The Last of Us Part 1 is not only visually stunning, but also emotionally captivating. From the very first moment, it grips your heart and doesn't let go. Joel and Ellie's bond really shows the strength found in vulnerability and trust. The Last of Us beautifully explores the themes of loss, survival and hope in a broken world.

The emotional depth, stunning visuals, and immersive gameplay create an experience that is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming. This game isn’t just about survival; it’s about the connections that make life worth living. Truly one of the most moving experiences in gaming.

It's a must play for fans of story-driven games (that like to get their hearts ripped out) ♡

Gosh where do I even begin, Resident Evil 5 holds such a special place in my heart. The partnership between Chris and Sheva felt so heartwarming. The teamwork and support between them really shows the importance of friendship in the face of danger.

The bond between Chris and Jill is once again beautifully portrayed, showcasing their deep connection and how far they will go to protect each other. Their loyalty and trust in one another make every moment they share feel special, and I can't help but fall in love with them more and more.

The settings are varied and gorgeous, with just enough tension to keep you on edge without overwhelming you. And let’s be honest – punching a boulder is iconic. It’s one of those games you can keep coming back to, whether solo or with someone, and it still feels just as fun every time.

Whether you're a long-time fan of the series or new to it, Resident Evil 5 is a thrilling adventure that's hard to put down. I can't recommend it enough ♡

Monster Hunter Rise is the perfect game if you've ever thought, 'I want to fight a 30-foot fire-breathing dragon with a sword that's bigger than me, but I also want my dog to do parkour.' Between riding palamutes like a medieval uber and swinging around with a bug-powered grappling hook, you'll spend more time in the air than an actual monster hunter would. The monsters are terrifying, but nothing beats the real challenge: figuring out which of your 50,000 crafting materials is for upgrading that one sword. 10/10, would chase a fire-breathing T-Rex in a kimono again

Assassin's Creed Origins follows Bayek of Siwa on a breathtaking journey through ancient Egypt, blending history and myth with gorgeous visuals and captivating storytelling. The vast, open-world is rich with detail, from the sunlit deserts to the streets of Alexandria, offering a deep sense of exploration and discovery. Bayek is driven by personal loss and a desire for justice, making his journey emotionally engaging. Both expansions of AC Origins, 'The Hidden Ones' and 'The Curse of the Pharaos', breathe new life into Bayek's journey, expanding his world with depth and wonder, making his story even more unforgettable. Overall, Origins is a beautifully crafted experience that no one should pass up on

Despite being an ambitious game, Assassin's Creed Odyssey often feels bloated. While the vast, open-world is beautiful, it can feel repetitive and is filled with unnecessary quests that drag down the experience. The RPG mechanics, a fresh idea, sometimes take away from the Assassin's Creed experience, making it feel more like an open-world checklist simulator. That said, the story is engaging and the historical setting is captivating, especially for fans of Ancient Greece. If you have the patience for the grind, there's still fun to be had
