It's a really Fun game to play, especially with friends.
There are certain issues with the game, but its still really enjoyable.

The best part of it is that I get to tell my friend whom I sort of had to force to buy the game, "I told u so" and I get to see him admit to it on his review.

I would rate this game at its current state a 7/10. It has its problems that comparison of gear is not available, PC optimisation could be better, few QoL features can be there, which are being implemented as part of patches and maybe even DLC in the future based on the feedback they have got from the player base.

Combat is top notch and fun, though few changes there are also welcome, currently it was a lot of fun combat wise. Bosses have been balanced, with more of them leaning towards the easy side, but KT games have always had bosses difficulty being increased with the NG+ cycles with them reaching one shot potential and same.

Build crafting has been made easy, though i would like more weapon variants with different scaling options.

Overall the game was fun to play and worth it. with the upcoming DLC's i expect the game to become even more fun and my rating may also change, till then i would recommend this game to anyone who liked Nioh and Sekiro. Though i would suggest that ppl not expect Nioh like combat here, its fun nonetheless and should be taken as its own and judged

DS3 is a good conclusion to the souls series and is a very fun game. Though i had got used to the souls series by the time i started DS3, that did not stop me from dying a ton in the game.

The area design and boss designs are well done and the overall gameplay is good as well.
The various PvP covenants and their behavior is a fun change and led to lot of interesting invasions.

Overall i would recommend this game to people who enjoy souls games and like that challenge in the games.

I'm writing this review after having platinum'ed the game. DS2 is a good game on its own, the predominant negative comments about the game which is see is probably due to people comparing it to its predecessor and the non continuity in the storyline. I do like the variety which the game allows us to take with multiple build options available. PvP apart from the hackers(which was the case when i played NG couple of years back) was a fun experience.

Though the bosses of the base game was a huge let down, The three DLC's covered all the downs of the game and elevated the game to a good one from my perspective.

Getting Platinum in the game is a huge chore and I had all but gave up on it. but after getting platinum in all the other souls game+ Sekiro & Elden Ring and having to hear my friends b**ch about me not having the platinum in this, I finally took up the challenge and got the same.

Overall, I would recommend people to play this game for what it is and not compare it to other games and enjoy the experience. DS2 probably has to most variety and flexibility in terms of builds of all the souls games

Its a nice Remaster to the now Classic, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition.
Few welcome changes like changing covenants at the bonfire or using multiple soul items at once were much needed and done.

All in all, its a nice remaster and i would recommend people to try this game.

Alright lets get one point clear first, to all the guys thinking i have played all the soulsborne games and trying this thinking it will almost same, sorry to burst your bubble, but nioh is lot more different than soulsborne.

Nioh is a grindy game where u would need to grind and farm a lot to get the god level builds going and destroying content at higher difficulties. So if you are fine with grinding then this game is for u.

Now to get into Nioh2, its a step up from the initial nioh game and the new mechanics complete the game.
The new mechanics are a lot of fun and there is bit of a balance in builds in nioh2(Looking at you crit LW builds in Nioh1).

I thorougly enjoyed the content and would recommend this to anyone who is into grindy RPG mechanics games

Nioh shares a few superficial similarities with Dark Souls games like shortcut-rich levels, enemy-respawning checkpoints and a whole lot of death, but it ends at that. Nioh is very much its own beast, and is filled with high action combat and a stronger narrative. This Complete Edition includes the original game, as well as all of the DLC content, so you get to enjoy hundreds of hours of action. Perhaps to the game's detriment, Nioh has a mountain of systems that new players must learn before they can tackle the higher difficulties. Still, Nioh won't disappoint gamers hungry for a rich and immersive action game.

What really sets Nioh apart from the Souls games is the Ki Pulse mechanic. Nioh expects its players to have a solid grasp of Ki Pulse. If you want to enjoy the game and find out how different it is from souls you need to master this, dont complain about combat and stamina being very less unless you have mastered Ki Pulse. Successful Ki Pulse use lets you fight much more aggressively. It also makes combat more engaging, because even when you are withdrawing to restore stamina, you are actively inputting commands and remain involved in the encounter.

Overall I Highly Recommend this game to anyone who likes to challenge themselves and are ready to put in the hours.

Before I begin anything let me just PRAISE THE GLORIOUS INCANDESCENT SUN.
Now that the praising is over let me start with my review.

Let me be honest.. I hadn't heard of this game till a friend made a mention of this and that is when I started looking into it, waited for it to get a steam sale which never happened, finally couldn't wait anymore and bought it, haven't regretted my decision and never will.

I started playing dark souls having only heard that it's like the hardest game there is without any knowledge of how hard it can be.. Having been used to only keyboard and mouse games till I took this up, I died plenty of times before I could even get the hang of the controls. Once u die quite a few times you realise this isn't your normal game where just start attacking or power your way through your enemies.. you realise that there is a systematic approach you have to take if u hoped to progress through the game.

Let me make a quick note that this is not for those who are faint of heart and quit playing the game once u die 20 times.

Once u realise the systematic approach u need to take, the number of deaths decrease and you start making progress in the game.. So people who feel they can't go any further give it some time and thought and you can also make it through.

Now to the various aspects of the game and how I would rate them.

Story - 8/10. The story is not as straight forward as it's for other games but the overall story of dark souls is quite good.
Graphics - 8/10.. for its time the graphics is quite good.
Gameplay/Controls - 9/10. One of the best gameplay/ controls there is.
Progression -10/10.. best level design.. can play the game very differently with the same build multiple times

The NPC's in this game are the best. U kind of get to know each if them and there is a connect.
There are a lot of ways/ builds in which one can play this game, which helps in replay value though for me it will always be a knight kind of build..

The only part I didn't like about the game was that the ultra swords movement seemed very slow.. it might be because of my personal preference, but well I'm writing this review so I didnt like that.

The PvP in this game is dead so don't hope for any PvP action.

Now the bosses, there are quite a few booses in this game that are too good..
Especially the Artorias of the Abyss had the best bosses in the game, well apart from Ornstein and smough.

Overall I will definitely recommend this game to everyone, but if you are someone who wants to power your way through bosses then I would say kudos and good luck.. you will most likely not finish the game and be a RAGE QUITTER.

An Awesome game, diffuculty is managed well.. The game might seem impossible at first but once you get the hang of Combat its very easy. Story is Amazing and well paced. Chapter 3 seemed to be rushed, apart from that no complains.
I would higly recommend this game to anyone who plays RPG's.
