Incredibly innovant mixte between rhythm game, RPG and rogue-like!
Quite hard to get into, but very rewarding once you got it, with a very high skill ceiling for veteran players.
Has plenty of different builds and approaches possible.
Can be ran on any devices.
Strongly recommend, even if you have never played a rythm game before! Give it a try.

Excellent platformer with very good music, interesting characters and polished old-school 2d graphics. I heavily insist on how good the music is. Easy recommendation.

Early Access Review
Fun party game with friends (karting, monkey ball race, zombie massacre, minigolf, the list goes on...).
Has a deep multiplayer aspect similar to VR chat, where you can talk to complete strangers you meet when walking around with in game voice chat, leading to memorable moments.
If you are a builder you can also customize your own house, up to the very details.
Finally there is a casino where you can gamble (I am addicted).

Best game I've ever played. Almost 1600 hours in, still in love with it.
If you liked Monster Hunter World, it's difinitely a must-have. If you don't own MHW and are thinking about getting both base game and DLC (Iceborne), go for it, dive in with a friend or solo and enjoy.
DLC easily doubles the amount of content from base game: bigger monster roaster, more thrilling combats, fantastic -yet controversial- final bosses and more multiplayer.

Most negative reviews are either concerning poor performances on release, which have been fixed since then but the average steam user doesn't update their review, or concern the two final bosses that are pretty difficult and challenging, people review-bombing the game to express their frustration towards them (get better).

Made some great friends over this game too (hello AJ). Can only recommend.

Excellent Vampire Survivor-like that actually surpasses its model.
Very chill and easy to play, good retro music, turn off brain and enjoy.

- Gameplay feels bad, for a souls-like that's a major red alert (slow, clunky, getting hit and hitting enemies feel weird)
- Bosses are easy and uninteresting (one boss straight up circles around you for minutes and you just gotta wait ?)
- Game still has performance issues months after release
- Half of the areas are super dark I can't see a thing (and the lighting work in general is bad, you enter a cave it's pitch black you exit you get flashbanged)
- DS2 artifical difficulty (smart enemy placement ? nah just overload this area with basic enemies)

TLDR : an overpriced bad souls-like, avoid or wait for a big sale at your own risks

Best souls-like of the decade so far that competes with the original From Soft serie.

Perfect Bloodborne x Sekiro x Pinocchio game. Excellent combat: dodge, blocking, and parry feel very nice to alternate between when fightning bosses (where unlike Dark Souls you would only want to dodge and Sekiro parry). Lots of replayability with the unique weapon assemble system.

Only downside is the P-organ upgrade tree, where key abilities should have been basic abilities you already start with (being able to get back up when on the ground and the double dash). Read feedback saying the parry window is too short, I didn't feel like it but take this into consideration.

Nonetheless, is a must-play for souls-like enjoyers.
