I regret nothing

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dark Souls. The lore is extremely cryptic, and without a solid grasp of the world around you most of the lore will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also Dark Soul's nihilistic outlook on humanity and how people try to maintain some type of purpose even though they usually get a dark outcome. Which is deftly woven into the games- the lore draws heavily from Vaati Vidya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just sad- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Dark Souls truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the sadness of Siegmeyer's questline, which itself is a metaphor for how even though we can prolong the invetiable, it is useless to. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Hidetaka Miyazaki's genius wit unfolds itself on their television/computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, I DO have a Soul of Cinder tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothing personal bucko 😎

with a bit of Higgs, SkyUI, Verdant Skyrim, VRIK and Planck, you've got a good game

but... with a slight dash of CBBE 3BA, Reimagned Serana and CBPC

well then you just might have a great game

'It's morbin time' - Postal Dude

I am a 58 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for his birthday from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 40 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching Ukrainian men French kissing canines on YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.
