Seems like a lot of the games content was removed on the 1.0 update, not only that but many issues were not fixed. Here's a list of problems that have both been in the game since EA and also introduced in 1.0.

- Stuttering, game stutters a lot. I honestly can't tell if it's better or worse compared to EA.

- Frame drops, one minute the game will be fine and then suddenly 20fps for no apparent
reason

- The enemy AI is like playing against cheaters in any PvP game. (i'll touch on this more later)

- I can't set loadouts for the AI bots, they keep resetting. This actually worked properly in EA.

- Menu settings keep resetting themselves, for example bounce light keeps turning itself off and reflex won't stay off.

- Game mode selection is entirely removed from the 1.0 release, this is a massive blunder,
how could they think they could get away with removing these? That's ridiculous

- Maps were removed, this is even worse then the game mode selection, there's maps that straight up are not in the game anymore, like the fastfood map is just gone from what I can see. Wth? This is not ok.

Now I'll talk about the terminator enemy AI that is still in:

professional FPS tournament players can't match up to the inhuman speeds that the AI sometimes responds at, like if an AI sees you they basically instantly dome you or at the very least injure you before you can kill them. If the instant reaction speeds were not bad enough the AI can also see through walls, they will not only track you through walls, but can also magically headshot you through walls, even if the gun they're using is a 9mm and the wall is made of stone. What kind of 9mm can pierce a foot of stone? None that I know of, most rifles probably can't penetrate that much material.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

So yeah, overall I can't recommend this game because of the devs rushing the game out in a terrible state, it's even worse then the EA version in many ways. The only thing that noticable got better on 1.0 is the AI Team Mates, they're leagues better then they were before, so props for that, they're great, shame many other things are not.

There's a big map, but it has very little content and the same copy and pasted weapons/enemies in it, so it gets very repetitive and boring.

This developer also abandoned their other game, Second Extinction which was in Early Access for a number of years and just the other day they came out and said they're not bothering to finish it, which is a disgraceful action completely destroying all trust they have with the consumers. They should feel ashamed of themselves.

Wow, absolutely useless developers, couldn't even finish making the game. What a joke.

PROS:

- Pretty environments, with fairly realistic foliage and trees etc

- Sound effects on all the different interactions and actions are good, although it's really strange how your character grunts and moans when he drinks dirty water, sounds like he's getting punched in the face or something lol.

- Synthwave soundtrack is nice

- The combat is decent, nothing innovative about it, but it works fine mostly.

- The building system is pretty intuitive and uses logic, but it can feel a bit limited or clunky at times. Would be nice if we didn't always have to build off of nodes.

- Game is extra fun if you have a buddy or two to play with.

CONS:

- The performance is terrible, this game runs really poorly even on systems that far exceed the requirements. My system can play far more complex games at higher frame rates. I think the main reason this game runs so poorly is due to it being very CPU bound due to lack of proper optimisation and lack of DX12. DX12 would take the load off of the CPU and thus increase performance by a lot, probably looking at gains of up to 20 or 30 percent on average in most games.

- Needs more of everything, more guns, more melee weapons, more enemy types, more to do in general.

- Getting water is a painful endeveour, there's not enough ways to get and boil water in the early game, alot of the time you are forced to drink dirty water which damages you. At least make fast running streams count as clean water like, since fast running waters has significantly less harmful bacteria in it compared to stagnant water irl.

VERDICT: I'd say overall this game is worth getting in its current state (especially while it's discounted), but make sure your system is decently above the recommended requirements. People with 1080 ti's (the recommended GPU on the store page) will likely have pretty bad frame rates even on the lower settings.

PROS:

- Pretty unique gameplay, I don't think there's anything similar on the market at the moment.

- Graphics look ok. Enemy designs are interesting.

- Good sound design, can tell what traps are firing based off sound.

- Combat and mobility feels good, although everything being a 1shot kill can take some time to get used to.

- Co-op Rading is a blast with a friend, co-op building can also be fun.

CONS:

- The games progression system is extremely one sided. If you don't raid you'll not be able to get anywhere with progression, which is pretty unfortunate since I enjoy building the deathtraps a bit more then Raiding the deathtraps.

- Resource gain feels too slow. I really hope they increase how much resources you get soon, especially Synthite. Parts are the only resource that feels about right.

- The content feels a bit light, I feel like there should be many more enemy types, traps, suits and weapons to choose from. So it can feel a bit stale after a while.

VERDICT:

I think MYM has a lot of potential to go from a good game to a great game, it just needs more content and time to mature. If support is kept up and new content keeps coming, I think this will be a great game in a year or so.

Would I recommend to buy it? Yes, but get it on sale if at all possible, the base price is a bit high for what you get in my opinion.

Pretty good DLC, maybe even better then the Stalingrad one.

Only critique so far is that the Omaha Beach mission felt a little underwhelming. It seemed to lack those big tower bunkers with the wide field of view and the beach seemed a little small. That said, it was passable.

I haven't played all the missions yet, but the ones I have played were quite enjoyable, I especially liked the night mission with the paratroopers, that was pretty cool (although I wish I could disable lens flare on the lights, way too bright).

Overall seems like it's worth the money so far. Might update this review once I have done all the missions.

Glory for the first man to die, CHARGE!

Is a pretty fun co-op game, but does have some performance issues.

PROS:

- Decent amount of traps and weapons to choose from

- Hero selection is ok

- Fairly replayable

- Nice graphics, best in the series

- Sound and music is what you'd expect in an OMD game

CONS:

- Not as good as Unchained

- Lacks 3 or 4 player co-op

- No mod support.

- Some maps are horribly designed, for example there's a map called "Basement". All of the fighting happens on bridges above the basement, not in the basement.

- Some traps are not very good, like decoys are basically a waste of money.

VERDICT: While it's not the best in the series, it's certainly not a bad game, but does suffer from some short comings, such as some of the maps being bad or poorly thought out. The player freedom is also limited on some maps since you're expected to setup a specific way to beat the map instead of using your own creative way.

The game is worth buying when it's on sale, I do not recommend paying full price as it's a bit high for what you get. I hope to see further DLCs released for it and am hoping to see many of the Unchained maps added in a big map pack.

Pretty good TD, lots of levels and stuff to unlock. Needs a map editor though, steam workshop support is basically useless without one.
