Meet Your Maker is a good game that wasn't able to capture a large enough audience to stay alive. A hidden gem, if you will. While it had it's fair share of growing pains and exploitable bugs, overall it was a lovely experience. A thrill, actually, to raid the gorgeous and deviously constructed outposts of other players, and in turn watch them take on the challenges I had constructed myself. It's one of the few games I went out of my way to find, test, and report bugs for... It truly is unfortunate that it didn't last.
The game is still running, you can still play it, but it's on life support now. The only new content it gets comes in the form of cosmetics. Either way, I'd recommend trying it out while it is still around.

the only thing I haven't tried is a third party executable that supposedly improves frame rate, but I'm not going to install sketchy programs to make this worth it.

I wish this game ran well, because when it doesn't drop frames it is quite fun and unique.
