Continuing on from my last 'My Stepmom is a Futanari' game, the sequel is even better than the last one because again -- stepmother's can punish their own if they have to. Studies have revealed that stepmothers internalize the myth of the evil stepmother in how they view themselves and how they believe others view them (Roper and Capdevila, 2011; Coleman and Ganong, 1987; Brown, 1987b; Penor Ceglian and Gardner, 2001, for example). Roper and Capdevila's (2011) study, for instance, found that stepmothers significantly agreed with the statement, "I work hard to show to my stepchildren and my partner that I am not a nasty stepmother." Some stepmothers may even stop correcting their stepchildren, according to other research findings (Weaver and Coleman, 2005; Coleman et al., 2008). A stepmother was quoted as saying: "I feel quite horrible if I have any bad thoughts about [my stepson]" as well. (2011) (Roper and Capdevila: n.p.). Intriguingly, in a step family, having "bad ideas" about one's in-laws is viewed as a problem and, if the stepmother has them, as a sign that she is a cruel stepmother. Although if such feelings are a normal aspect of human interactions, biological moms find it difficult to express them since it is assumed that they do not "naturally" experience them. As a result, these feelings are still forbidden. It appears that mothers are forbidden from having "bad sentiments" about their kid, whether a stepchild or a biological child. However, it is important to note, as Claxton-Oldfield (2008) also emphasizes, that although the stepmyths are still present in the social imaginary, there appears to be some change in societal attitudes toward the stepfamily in the form of positive representations of stepmothers in movies, TV shows, and children's books. For instance, in movies and TV shows like "Stepmom" (1998) or "Step-by-Step" (1991); "Callie and the Stepmother" by Meyer (Claxton-Oldfield, 2008: 48-49).
