One of the best VN mystery game Capcom have made makes a surprising return thirteen long years after having only the DS and mobile version being the only official ways to purchase and play, with enhanced visuals and a remade ost breathes new air into this classic mystery visual novel. Fans of the Ace Attorney series style of writing should feel right at home when they play this game as it comes from game director Shu Takumi.

The story of Ghost Trick takes place over the course of a single night that begins with your death and the mystery around who you were and why you were killed, as well as preventing the deaths that occur over duration of this night in order to unravel the mystery of who you are and why your fate appears to be connected with the colourful cast that will accompany you.

The gameplay is very simple enter the ghost world and use your powers of the dead to manipulate objects that you possess, possess someones core after death in order to speak with and travel back 4 minutes prior to their own death, using these powers you will not only prevent death but navigate the area, or use your powers to just play around with different objects to see what happens.

The ost is an arranged version composed by Yasumasa Kitagawa who also composed the ost for The great ace attorney chronicles, he created a remastered 1-to-1 soundtrack to accompany the games leap to the RE engine in which he did a fantastic job in doing so some tracks I prefer his version to the original but the original music is still here in case you prefer it to the new one.

If you enjoy visual novels or mystery/puzzle games or perhaps you are just a fan of the Ace Attorney games than I would highly recommend giving this game a try as it might be just what you want in a game.

This is a wonderful little bhop game with dumb cars driving around to stop you from having a fun bounce around the city.
Definitely pick it up if you want a neat little game and I hope that the dev makes new maps for this game or makes other bhop or movement based games in the future.
