I saw Sorceress Sellen at a cellar in Limgrave yesterday. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for spells or anything.

She said, “It's fine! I don't mind at all!”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but she cut me off and laughed and pulled me in for a magic lesson. I walked away and continued with my journey, and I heard her laugh and wave at me as I walked off. When I came to kill some rats I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Glintstone Shards in her hands without paying.

The soldier at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Ma'am, you need to pay for those first.” She turned around and said "I'm so sorry! I'm so scatterbrained, I didn't mean to!"

When he took one of the shards and started scanning it multiple times, she realized she had forgotten her runes. I offered to pay for the Glintstone Shards and she said "Wow, you're so sweet!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I will never wash my face again.

Finally got to visit that harbor specializing in Gunkan Suships that I've been curious about for a while! The premium "Shari" here is limited to 2000 Suships a year, and uses specially developed smooth aged rice, giving it extra boldness not found anywhere else. The classy atmosphere made my heart sing, too. The Gunkan Suship served had a perfect balance of vinegar, nigiri, shine, and shape, demonstrating exquisite artisanship. The owner told me, "We are introducing rich yet mellow scented EDO-FRONT red vinegar in the near future," which I'm really looking forward to. However, I was disappointed the surrounding seas were a little noisy... so, giving it 4 stars with hope for improvements in the future.

After 5 years of trying, I finally beat ludex Gundry today

I called my parents because I couldn't stop crying. I didn't know what else to do because I was basically in hysterics. For YEARS I've been trying to play Dark Souls 3 because I have really bad gas at night and everyone says Dark Souls cures all of your ailments and files your taxes for you. Well, that's been put on hold for a while because I just couldn't seem to beat Gungry. Until now. I came back to DS3 and finally figured out that the right analog stick turns the camera! After a few hours, victory was mine.

I'm speechless. I cannot seem to place my words. My tongue is numb. I can't feel my teeth. Dark Souls is a metaphor for life because it's hard but when you do it good, it feels good. I'd also like to thank my high school music teacher for always believing in me. I can't stop shaking.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dark Souls 2. The lore is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the story will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also the protagonist's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these lores, to realize that they're not just interesting- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Dark Souls 2 truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Gavlan's existencial catchphrase "Gavlan wheel? Gavlan deal." which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as From Soft's genius unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them.
