Great game, publisher did something stupid, community reacted, stupidity was undone. Still a great game.

This is a very deep game, it would be an easy recommend if not for the abhorrent DLC practice. If you want the full experience expect to fork out quite a bit on content packs. On Reddit you can find a tier list of essential DLCs, I suggest you wait for a sale, for about 50$ you can get the major ones.

If you like other map games, or other paradox games such as HOI4 this is a game you will find familiarity and hours of more fun with this title.

A small, free game that allows the player to be a grease-themed super-hero. What more is there to say? A fun time-waster, basic but enjoyable.

Call of duty 2 style and gameplay with Counter-Strike gamerules (Wartide mode/Comp) and skins, if that sounds like a winning combo you will enjoy this game. Face-it integration seems forced and is a drag on the competitive side of the game.

This game is in a very poor state as of time of writing and is subject to change (I would expect). This is all based off of beta experience although it doesnt seem like the 'official' release changed much, if anything at all.

Id like to start by saying I love squad, the mechanics and how the monthly updates change and fix a ton of issues and hope PS recieves the same attention. But in its current state it is unbalanced, very poorly optimised and opts to change systems that were tried and true in squad (and even project reality) in what seems like a poor attempt to change for the sake of change to combat the comments about PS just being a reskin of squad. The biggest consequence of this is the lack of team-oriented strategy and communication. In PS there are 'sections' like there are roles in squad, although in PS they are no longer contained in squads and more limiting; i.e. only some are allowed to build, operate vehicles or command. This more fractured system ecourages 'cowboy-ism' where a player will go solo and have no communication with command. This is a massive problem as it contributes to many other greivences people have with this game such as; extremely slow paced gameplay, long run-in time (how long it takes from spawn to get into combat) and unbalanced teams (many players switch teams or squads looking for good SL or commanders more often than not leaving one 'tryhard team' and a casual one).

On the more positive side of things I love the era this game is set in and even with its issues there were moments of absolute joy and awe. I think to one moment where my squad lead led an expedition to flank an enemy tank and infantry position. We called for airsupport and had a stuka (they sound sick) soften up the infanty as we charged in and had both our AT hit an enemy tank simultaneously and take it out. Its moments like that which lead me to believe most of the 'core' aspects are ther they just need a lot of refining.

With that being said, if we use squad as a baseline or comparison (as we have up till now) I find its pretty hard to justify $10 less for a much lesser game, in terms of content, gameplay or optimistion. On top of all this there have been countless delays, alphas/betas and a serious lack of consistant and worthwhile updates.

All togther I would recommend waiting on this one and as of now with its current price I would give this game a 6/10.
