Having had more time to play and explore this game since my original review at 121 hours, I have continued playing for an additional 700 hours, and I can safely say that while this game may have some issues among longtime fallout fans, the gameplay is fun and environmental storytelling can draw out many many many additional hours and even full playthroughs of exploration. The settlement system allows you to decided where and what type of settlement you want to build, whether a defensive stronghold, a peaceful picturesque player home and more. The modding abilities and community additionally allow an even greater variety of gameplay experience and can drastically improve previously misbalanced mechanics or factors of the game.
