Best tower defense there is, events are not for casuals though.

The relics to choose just don't make any sense.
Heal 1 HP after every room while the enemys do 50 dmg if they hit you? Yeah, that's the balance everyone loves.
I really do not understand why the game has such weird balancing, it could be so much better.
It is okay, it is a rougelike you can play with friends (BIG plus), but still, it just isn't fun enough.

Overall, I just can not recommend this game in it's current state.

Update:
New Update Changed the Relics a lot + Skill upgrades. The meta is still the same though, and it is still just as boring and weirdly balanced as before.

Got to Chronos and he did a whopping 1300 DMG.
Not much more to say, other than: You start with 30 Health.
So I did a few more runs. Don't misunderstand me, it's really nice, but the grind is just overtuned. So many things you need to upgrade. So much progress locked behind runs (and you don't get more progress if you progress further - it might be best to do shorter runs and just die earlier so it does not take so long. Thats just not rewarding.

Still, overall the game is fun, I really like the mechanics and am looking forward to the updates which (hopefully) change the grindyness and the difficulty problems.

Also please let me not choose any boon, I don't like picking up one of the boons and litterally only getting stuff which destroys my build (why?).

Still, this game is really fun and whoever loved hades will still enjoy this. Otherwise wait a bit until the first few updates dropped, I am sure it will be much more rewarding then!

So, I finally beat this game on Difficulty 5. I had a lot of fun playing it, the minigames are fast and give a good variety. The building process is good and you will make a lot of progress.
A downside is - this game is too easy. I rushed through all difficulties in the first run except +5, where I lost because the nuclear reactor went off (no water). Otherwise, It just wasn't that hard. The upgrades you can buy between runs are really strong, but I am still far away from even seeing them all (altough I am only missing one more ending). Therefore, I don't really know if I can reccomend this game at the moment. The game is really fun for a while, but don't expect this to last too long. Maybe I will come back to it to finish the rest of the achievements (and of course the story).

Overall a cute game, has some neat mechanics and you will have fun if you like management games.

A really fun game Overall! It took me around 45 hours to get all Steam achievements, but if you really want to you could do it faster.

In the beginning the game was really hard for me and it took a while before I fully understood everything. But after a while I found a good tactic and beat the game easily. If people tell you this game has too much RNG don't listen to them, they just don't know a good tactic.
The game speed is too slow, but the developers promised that they will increase it in a future update, so it will hopefully get better soon.
After reaching the endgame it sadly gets too easy with the stuff you have in your village, so there is nothing left than farming materials with no challenge at all. Will play again if another boss comes around!

Great chill game while watching something and doing other stuff as it really does not need your full attention, especially later on.
