There is very little FUN to be found in this game and a whole lot of GRIND. The game is pretty much all grind. It's doing the same thing over and over and over to slowly become stronger with no REAL skill gap.

At first, I was not sure, where this game is going and what to expect from it.
A couple hours in, I got the basic idea, so I thought.
After 100 hours, I realized, I am addicted to this game.
I have never played anything like it.
Loop Hero is a mashup of seemigly incompatible game play mechanics and genres and makes them all work together better, than every single mechanic would work on its own. I am talking about base building, resource management, deck building, system management, RPG elements, story telling, class system, upgrade system, random level generation, leveling system, looting, combat, exploration, easter eggs... just to name a few.
The story is compelling, the characters funny, the visuals retro and the music perfectly right.
The whole game is perfecly balanced. Each and every element of it.
I loved every second of it, especially the final chapter.
