Waiting to change this review, but without the ability to look left the game is literally unplayable with more than one monitor.

This game is not in a playable state, the combat lacks intricacy and is clunky. The movement is uncomfortable and you spend half of the game waiting for stamina to regen. When this game is fully completed it will probably be worth it, but at the moment the gameplay just is not fun.

Amazing game, steadily increases in difficulty (kinda), it can feel slow how quickly you advance at first but, with a little pushing through to find some play styles that work for you, becomes an amazing game with many of the runs feeling completely different from the last. Very fast paced but built for fans of old school action fighters like earlier god of war games

This is a dreadfull game. Weapons do seemingly random amounts of damage, your crosshair is 2/3 of the way down the screen, exposives completely ignore cover. Audio warning mechanics in the game like piles of birds trigger at seemingly random ranges and still make sounds around you so its very hard to tell whether a team has triggered it or if it is just mbient sound. The entire genre leaves completely unbalanced games because your opponents might have spent more money on their class. Ontop of this you always start a game with 1 bullet missing from your gun (depending on your weapon), this is completely arbitrary and has no reason to be a mechanic in the game. The ability for basic enemies to rip you to shreds is high because if you dont have a silent weapon killing a spod isnt worth making the noise and letting another team know where you are. Overall I would give this game a 3/10 for the lack of any brain cells used to make it.

P.S. I have now played this game for a lot longer, turns out that stops after about 150 hours of gameplay. The new player experience in this game is absolutely horrible, it is confusing, money grabbing and loose. The story in this game is great, and late game is very fun, especially for people who enjoy collecting, grinding and class building for out of game, and high speed action in game.

Overall : Brilliant game, well worth the price tag
Positives: Deep branching storyline where your choices really do affect the outcome. Fun combat, rewarding exploration and amazingly in depth character creation (Its DnD, its awesome)
Negatives: AI and pathing on characters can be questionable, a few fights are overly difficult, I like to play all games on the hardest difficulty but some of the fights are frankly silly, enemies being able to 1-shot a moon druid from full hp beast form to straight dead no saving throws is a absurd. The depth of this game could also be overwhelming to players who have not already played DnD, but there is a bunch of help online for people who want to play this.

Only buy chronicles

Extremely RNG, feels pay to win because some of the decks they give you contain dlc cards which means you play against other players who bought the dlc. Runs can be over for what seems like completely RNG reasons, as someone who has played a lot of autochess/rogue lites/card games you might as well be rolling dice and recording the outcomes

75 hours in which is relatively small for an idle game of this size, so far everything is great, looking forward to how far this game can be pushed
