Very satisfying little game. I love how you can fine tune the difficulty of pretty much everything to be just the way you want it.

Very cute little exploring game. It's not very long but that's not a bad thing, and it's nice to have a game like this that involves exactly zero combat. Overall it's just a cute little feel-good game.

I started out giving this game a positive review cause I wasn't far in and it was fun at first. But it quickly wore of. The game is built around New Game+ So I got to the end and started a new game+ figuring it'd be more fun that way. It's not. It's the same 5 enemies, Same boring structures, same empty (but disturbingly cluttered) planets, same weak plots and story lines, and same dialogue that was clearly never gone through to make it actually make sense with the setting. As it stands it's an unfinished product, a weak base that DLC and modders might be able to build on. The gimmick it's built around is neither fun nor innovative, and the "reward" for using it is not worth it.

While the game isn't awful bad it's not good either. I was willing to look past the bugs, the annoyances here and there in the interface, and the fact that it overall looks like a game that came out 15 years ago (after all graphics and effects aren't the selling point of these type of games), and even the cliche writing. But with the ending the way it is? Even the good ending being as it is? I simply can't recommend a game that basically ends with an "all your effort was in vain" type ending. The story builds up for something potentially epic towards the end and then just falls flat on it's face and gives you a scrolling text blurb that covers one major event and "well everything went bad anyway" with nothing covering your companions, you the places and people you helped etc. Possibly one of the most dissatisfying game endings I've experienced, and I played Mass Effect 3 before the ending patch was released.

Stunningly beautiful game with fun but challenging combat (even on story mode) without feeling frustrating. The story is both interesting and melancholic, and it's an interesting angle on common topics like letting go of the past and respecting nature. While I finished the game in two sessions one could easily spend more time poking around if you want to find all the collectibles etc. But it doesn't feel short, it's just as long as it needs to be to tell it's story.

Honestly my only complaint is that the controls feels kind of sluggish when controlling the rot creature otherwise it's superb. It also wouldn't run properly with razer cortex game booster turned on (would load extremely slow then freeze and force me to restart my computer because nothing responded), so if you normally use that do be mindful to leave it off.

Early Access Review
Hit boxes are extremely wonky making targeting both creatures and resources difficult and non-intuitive, creatures will follow you across half the island at high speeds if they attack you and seem to have an unreasonably large threat detection area. As of right now there is no tutorial of any kind and very limited tool tips on what you can and can't interact with, or even some sort of notification that you're using the wrong tool to collect resources.

The character customizer is great though, I was both impressed and surprised by that, and the graphics are quite nice. The overall impression is that it feels like ARK without the dinosaurs, which isn't a bad thing, but the hit boxes and unreasonable follow distances is just a deal breaker for me and I ended up requesting a refund on this one because there's no excuse for a game that's been in early access since 2019 to still have those kind of issues.

If the devs had spent half the time fixing bugs that they did on "lovingly" sculpting dildo displays it might have been worth it, but as it is this game is just an unfinished mess and anyone who pays full price for it is getting ripped off.

Well worth it if you're into dark, high fantasy RPG's. Combat can be a bit tedious at times, but other than that it's a good game

Very compelling story with unexpected plot twists that at the same time makes a painful amount of sense when you think about them. Great supporting characters, you won't like all of them, but well you don't like everyone irl either, right? I just wish the game shipped with a few more character portraits, especially for the more exotic races.
