This game was the biggest surprise of the year for me. A relaxing, yet endlessly fun experience that is packed with personality. There is a great mix of gameplay and every type used is fun and unique. The 2D pixel art style is amazing and makes this one of the best looking games I have played in a while. Those who have not played this are truly missing out.

If you loved overcooked and have been looking for a similarly great co-op experience, this is it. I never thought I would see a rougelite cooking/management game but here we are. This game is great fun, can get very chaotic and is a great way to laugh with and yell at your friends.

Resident Evil Village is a great follow up to the amazing Resident Evil Biohazard. It did a great job ramping up the action from RE7 and offers a lot gameplay variety throughout the game. Combat is fun and the game is as hard as I want it to be on whatever difficulty I choose. If I had to make some complaints I would say the characters are not very interesting this time outside of few standouts and I wish the game had more horror throughout like RE7.

This game is an absolute blast to play with friends. Team 17 has really mastered the couch co-op genre. While I don't think this game has quiet as much chaotic fun as the overcooked games, it makes up for that with its personality. The levels are all fun with just the right amount of frustration mixed in. The controls feel tight and all the mechanics are well thought out and add to the experience. This a great game for any game night with friends over remote play if you want yell at each other constantly while laughing the whole time.

I haven't had this much fun with a dungeon crawler since Isaac. This game has a lot of personality and you can spend countless hours trying to find all the equipment, guns and secrets that the gungeon has to offer.
